I placed the order for my wedding cake here in September 2017 and it was a nightmare from when I walked in the door to the day of my wedding. My fiancĂ© and I booked an appointment for a taste testing and when we came in they had no idea who we were. We were perplexed but that was fine. We wanted to taste some cakes. They did not have most flavours available which was annoying. Then we came to realize that they would charge us for the taste testing!!! Which is the weirdest thing! Because I went to several places and it was always free. But that wasn’t my biggest concern. We ordered our cake. Then they kept calling us back a total of THREE times to increase the price saying that they quoted us wrongly. This seemed very fishy and seemed like they were only trying to milk us of our money. ANYWAY. The most devastating part was when I saw the cake on my wedding day, it was nothing like I expected it to be. It was messy and looked like it was not done professionally. The cake we ordered was 4 tiers. And the most disturbing part was that the cake was actually leaning to its side like it was about to fall over from the beginning of the evening and so we HAD to cut the cake much earlier than we wanted to and the hotel staff removed it from the hall. We wanted the cake to be the centre of our wedding. And this was a disaster for us. What a disappointment. The flavours were good. The red velvet was tasty. But please don’t waste your money ordering your wedding cake from here. You will be thoroughly disappointed. I wish I could...

As someone who's worked all my life for big business, I've resolved to fully support small businesses. Why? SugarTiers alone will give all the reasons you need to choose small business, again and again without fail. Not only is Rosalind Chan an incredibly talented chef and baker (my awesome chef of a grandma would have loved having her as granddaughter!) with her beautiful creations and out-of-this-world dishes and cookies, she is the epitome of a real entrepreneur who's in business because it's her passion and doing what she loves, but more importantly, her connection with her customers and her personal touch and appreciation for her customers that she sees as people, not just statistics as is so typical of big business. Rosalind & SugarTiers to me is why the world must go back once again to being served by small businesses, all the wonderful entrepreneurs who so generously share their talents with their local communities, who feed their customers with food not just for their tummies but for their souls :) For a taste of heaven, gastronomically and spiritually, check out SugarTiers. I know you won't be...

Wow! Speechless by this business. I'll start with the customer service; it was absolutely wonderful and we were able to talk to the Baker about the different options of items available. Apparently there are even more options on the weekends so I'm very excited to come back and try something new.

The atmosphere was beautiful, lots of floral both inside and out on the patio. It's extremely beautiful. The shop is on the smaller side but I truly enjoy how intimate the experience was and plus the taste of the food we purchased was immaculate!

My partner ordered a brownie which was rich and moist; 8/10 would recommend. i believe it was around $2-$3. I ordered a Creme Brulé cupcake and it was AMAZING. She torched it on the spot and it was so fresh! 10/10 would recommend! It was only $4

Overall this place was great and if you're reading this you should definitely go check it out. The hours are posted within my...

We ordered a cake for my mom's 70th birthday celebration back in Jan 2019. Rosalind was very kind to fit our order in just before the Christmas holidays even though it was last minute. Her prices were fair, and she was extra accommodating for my weird cake design and taste: I wanted both lychee and mango flavors layered in the cake. I appreciated Rosalind's honesty when she told me she never tried to combine flavors before and was not sure how it would taste. Despite this, she had no problems giving it a try and it tasted great! I especially liked how the cake looked. I had only briefly explained the concept to her with clips of various pictures as a reference and it turned out exactly as envisioned! She applied her judgement in the right places without losing the original concept and the cake looked amazing. Thank you Rosalind for getting this cake done so well, it is not easy trying to meet all my weird demands!

First time visiting and had a wonderful meal at Sugartiers today! So glad to find some Malaysian food in this area! We had delicious curry laksa, very moist red velvet cupcake 🧁 and curry chicken puff. Sugartiers have been operating here for some years already, and the chef is from Malaysia and a trained baker. They are opened on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat, 11am - 6pm but serves Malaysian food only on Sat. However, the Malaysian food needs to be pre-ordered as they prepare limited quantity since it is home cooked. Follow their Facebook page for the Saturday menu, and also for their operating days as they may not be in town. Most people will order takeaway, though they have limited outdoor seating area. There’s parking around the shop house too.
