Thai Express Richmond Heights — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

I had a very disappointing experience at this Thai Express location. I ordered: • 1 Stir Fry Cashew with Rice & Fish • 1 Stir Fry Cashew with Rice Noodles & Fish

However, the cashier/cook, who introduced himself as “Sam” and claimed to be the owner, made a mistake by cooking both dishes with rice instead of one with noodles. When I pointed this out, he refused to acknowledge his mistake and did not offer any resolution.

To make matters worse, Sam didn’t provide a receipt after my order. When I later requested it due to the issue, he was reluctant to give it.

There are also serious hygiene concerns. I saw the same wok being used for both vegetarian/vegan and non-vegetarian dishes without proper cleaning in between. This is a huge risk for people with dietary restrictions or allergies.

Thai Express should maintain better food quality, hygiene, and customer service standards. I won’t be returning to...

I love Thai Express, it’s always been my go to place for something quick and yummy, so I was pretty excited when this location opened up. I’ve been to this location just under 10 times since they have opened up and time after time I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they are new. I always get the pad Thai, it was either too dry, too much sauce, undercooked noodles and most recently, it was so burnt that the burnt smell slaps you in the face when you open the takeout container. So my question is, how does one not notice how burnt it was, the smell was so strong, yet you proceed to serve it to your customer?! I have picked out some burnt pieces for the imagination… imagine cigarette tips and month old ashes. Very much willing to drive to a further location...

I went to this restaurant it was very good. Food was just perfect 👌. All staff members are very friendly. As previous review from other customer regarding the portion of food is wrong, because I was right there when he was there he was complaining for no reason, I as a customer felt he was looking for free food. According to restaurant staff the quantity will stay the same but the price difference is only for bowl as to eat comfortably. They are very clear when they explain if you like the bowl or box, the quantity will be the same. When manager was explaining he was polite to that customer. I hope this will help to solve the fake and totally wrong review. I will visit this location every week....
