its clear the owners of heeva fine foods will do everything in their power to make excuses for their atrocious behaviour towards their paying customers to make sure they can avoid taking any accountability for their own errors. my mom called them to inform them that food she had ordered for a party over the weekend was not of good quality as it usually is since we order from them quite often, it is not uncommon practice to let establishments know this to prevent them from selling low quality foods. She let them know this and they claimed over the phone that she is lying and she would have brought the food in if she and her guests didn't actually finish all the food (essentially telling her that she's lying to get a refund which was NOT the case as she actually called to make another pick up order for the following weekend). Then after such accusations my mother took the fully packed order to their store with around 20+ kotlet's that were left uneaten by her guests as they tasted WAY TOO SALTY to eat. The owner then refuses to believe that the food could have possibly tasted bad because they always stick to one recipe (mistakes can happen in the kitchen there is no reason to get so defensive) she then tries the food goes to the kitchen and comes back and says the kitchen says it tastes fine but for her it was salty because she does not eat salt with her food (interesting that you can admit that it is salty but will stick by the fact that my moms guests could not also think it was salty). She then accuses my mom of wanting a refund for a couple dollars and says "aren't you the same person that came for a $5 refund a few days ago" (a completely false accusation because my mom only went to pick up the food she ordered never went for a refund) - not only was this accusation false but it is really disgusting to say this to any customer, this should be basic customer service training. She had also asked to speak to the other owner as there are two which the lady seemed hesitant to get and as soon as they went to go get him he left to go home. At this point my mom decided to stop wasting her time and left to go home as well. It's important to train yourselves in how to deal with customers before opening up an establishment that is providing a SERVICE. We will never be stepping foot into heeva again and it is clear from other reviews that customer service is the primary issue and this isn't a first time incident. Take your customers complaints as constructive criticism and not personal attacks if you wish to have any success. Take some...
Read moreHere you will experience the most awkward customer service which you would never see anywhere in Iranian stores and restaurants in Canada.
The business owner ( a lady who claimed that) lacks the minimum sense of a customers driving business, not even caring if you never go back there. This store has been newly acquired and i believe the owner has the least amount of experience in how customer based businesses work in Canada. Not surprisingly i noticed other reviewers have similar impressions about rudness of owner lady and her lack of professionalism.
Long story short after 20 mins of eating at a table with my wife and my mother, who was visiting us from Ottawa, we asked for the complimentary tea. Surprisingly however, they refused to offer us the tea unless we leave the table! Such an unwritten disrespectful policy for such a highly priced food.
Feeling disappointed and upset of the way they treated us, on my way out I objectively complained about it as that was so strange behavior and we never had that experience any where (including the same place several times in past). The lady who claimed to own the business suddenly got agitated and started screaming while following me with angry face. While my wife was trying to keep her away from my face she used very rude words in farsi about my wife, knowing that my wife doesn't speak farsi to provoke me;clearly she doesn't speak English! I'm pretty there are video captures to see her mad behavior towards us. They really need to hire a professional manager if they want to survive.
Eventually we calmly left the place promising not only ourselves but our friends and family will never step in this place anymore.I am about to report their abusive language to the board.
Last, take a look the rude reply to this post instead of apologizing, another example of rude owner of this multiple time bankrupt store. Not to mention that they seem to have an infinite number of fake accounts to neutralize the negative reviews or they start sweat talking the customers right after an incident to post positive reviews for them. Pay attention to posts right after this: serving tea while waiting for...
Read moreI am very dissatisfied with the staffs. We ordered a dish after consulting with the staff and we got the confirmation from her that it contains only Chicken and no other meat. We paid the amount and there after we came to know our dish contained beef. So, we asked to change the dish. In the process we ended up double ordering and had to pay twice the amount. The lady the cash counter was unwilling to cancel the order. It was their mistake but we ended up paying for it. I will never visit this place again and WOULDNOT suggest anyone else to visit too.
Responding to the Owners response :
You are given wrong information of the event that happened over there These are the exact events : We ordered a dish price 26$ after consulting your staff( 2 staffs confirmed its a chicken ONLY dish). We consulted the staff before ordering and they confirmed it contains "ONLY Chicken". After paying we get to know the dish contain one beef item (we do not east beef as we are Hindus). So, my wife asked your staff to replace the beef with chicken. So, they did put another chicken in the over/grill. But they did not mention that we need to pay for the exchange/replacement.(i.e. another ~16$).We were informed about it after it was put on the grill and so we were asked to pay and we don't have the option to back out from both of the orders (i.e. 26$ + 16$). So, my wife fealty trapped and paid the 2nd plate with rice i.e. 16$ + 2$= 18$. Total paid (26 +18) + tax and we got two plates of the same chicken dish. Pls understand we wanted only 1 not 2 but we had to take the second one boz of the situation created. Frankly speaking the food got wasted as it was too much for us.
Summary: This is confusion created by the 2 staffs as they misguided us when we asked about the content a dish. Mistake can happen by anyone after all we are humanizing's and not God. But the issue I am pointing to is, your staffs could have changed the original order to chicken only i.e. 26$ to 18$ dish and refund the rest of the amount. However. it was not done and we had to double order i.e. 2 plate of Chicken dish total of 45$ approx. with tax. So, we feel we...
