Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

-the Chinese lady kept interrupting us the whole time while ordering, has zero customer service experience whatsoever. Did not let us finish our sentences and told us she doesnt know how to make the new drink. -We ordered 4 hot coffees and they were all marked up with crayon leaving black residue on our hands -We ordered the new caramel toffee latte, but i wanted it iced and i KNOW i said it iced. She proceeded to tell me i was lying even though my sister and my mother both heard me. i tell her okay if you don’t have the iced version of the caramel toffee latte, then i will get the caramel toffee cold brew. Proceeds to tell me they don’t have it and and both her and her coworker yells at me to pick one. Then talks bad about us in Chinese when MY FAMILY AND I ARE CHINESE AND UNDERSTAND. -ordered 4 sandwiches, Shoves all of them into one paper bag, as we are about to leave the paper bag ripped because it was too full and the sandwiches fell onto the floor. Sloppy and lazy packaging job. -Ordered 20 timbits and never received them. As a fast-food restaurant there will obviously be times when there is a mistake or something missing from the order, it's life, we're humans, and these things happen. This has happened multiple times, but since it is the closest one to me on my way to work it's usually pretty fast in the drive-thru. My absolute FAVOURITE is the lady who works the window from Tuesday-Friday. One morning I was rushed for work, had a terrible sleep, and was feeling quite lousy but when I got to the window she remembered who I was and remembered that I ask for ketchup with my orders and already had it in the bag before I could ask. This small act and her positive smile and attitude IMMEDIATELY brightened my day. She has been remembering me ever since and it's just so nice to know that she puts the extra care and effort into someone and an order who's only there for 1 minute. Heard they came out with a 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 version now so I have an excuse to head on back and try their cold brew once more 😅

A few years ago, I used to frequent this location every morning before heading into work at Treetop Trekking. One specific employee always knew what I was going to order and always had it ready by the time I was at the front of the line so kudos to him because it made me feel like a valued customer 🥰
