This is the worst chines food restaurant i have ever been. I have been more than ten times even in china. The english speaking personel ratio is 25 percent .Which is hard for tourists to communicate. The food that i ate beef and chicken was very raw. I chew , chew and after some point i couldnt make it so i had to get out like chewing gum. Normally i dont left any food on my plate even i dont like it. Once in a decade . And here is happened. On website says dinner time 21:30 . And people came about 20:45 -21:00 are returned. It says no Credit card. Only cash and debit so i got in. But when check out it writtens only canadian debit card. 🙄 Anyway they also changed their policy , i could pay with international card. Atmosphere was good . There were Mostly chinese people , who were speaking chinese only , not international vibe. Waiters were good with their abilities. But they even saw i that i took out from my mouth politely and took a picture of rawness . They saw me and they said " so you didnt like our food. " I Said " i like chinese food but not your dishes . They are so raw and cartilaged ." And they said " ahh , ok. " So There was no ; Sorry what can we do ? Can we heat or cooked again ? Not offering at least one dish discount or even at least a drink complimentary. They took it to the end , also tax and minimum 12 percent tip extra. This is not mostly see in western hospitality , Anyway i been there because next restaurant was booked a day eairlier. So others do. I dont understand one thing , is richmond newspaper paid or bribed . Who can choose it as a best...

It's been a long time since I've been to Mui Garden and it was no doubt my favourite place when I was a kid. I've been to every single one including the one in Coquitlam which is now closed. The food is almost like how I remember it. Back in the day, the beef brisket was more tender and the sauce was a little thicker. So the food was 95% of the way there to that nostalgic feeling. What I can say did change was the service. I guess when it's dinner time for the staff they only have one person waiting all the tables while the other waitresses don't really care. They're on their break, I guess. I don't think they have a lunchroom so they sat in the main dining area. Even with the one swamped waitress, they couldn't get up to help take out customers. Fortunately, my order is takeout. I did notice the prices skyrocketed since I last came here. They offer two sizes now for most of their dishes. The large/regular size is their old size which is around 16 bucks and the smaller size is around 11 and half the size. I guess they need to keep up with inflation. I remember when the current large size a few years ago was still 10.50. I'll give it 3 stars for the nostalgia. 2 marks docked for the service and lower...

Curry beef rice tastes good but size in mini meal in size and rice is just warm. Price is $20.5 a little pricey in regard to its size. Black bean chicken rice is little salty. Dish size is better and rice is hot enough. Drinks and 2nd dish come late. We have finished the first dish but drinks come when we ask after the first dish. We go about 3:30pm and find very few customers which is about 3 tables and 6 customers. There are no afternoon meal menu for rice and noodle which is unexpected. Service is not good enough especially for the time so quiet. Only one menu is given when we have 3 persons dining in. We need to take additional menu ourselves. The waitress is hanging around and look busy for nothing more important than customer. When we're ready to pay bill, she just walks away without standing closed to us and say thank-you at all till we walks out the door. Parking driveway is very narrow in only one direction. We cannot drive through as there is long pickup truck parked beside us. We have to drive another direction to exit the driveway. Parking is limited and should be not...
