I took my mom there as a surprise. The soup dumplings do live up to their reputation. I was so delighted that I ordered some soup dumplings for takeout for the kids. The edible vinegar spheres were pretty cool. You can imagine my disappointment when I got home to find regular vinegar instead, so I couldn't show my kids. We ordered some hand pulled noodles to try it out. The consistency of the noodles was great, but the flavouring seemed very lackluster, with all the focus being spicy. (we asked for non-spicy) There was one server who didn't seem to care that we were there. There was only one other occupied table, so I would expect that she would come by to ask if we needed anything else and add hot water to the teapot. The tea started out tepid, and undrinkable. At one point I had to stand up and poke my head around to get her attention so I could order more.. And then we were waiting around for a long time to pay. It's not a good sign when we were the only customers in the restaurant at that point. This restaurant has the potential to be an awesome place, but a little more focus on more than just really good dumplings will make it so much better.

This little hidden gem on number five Road near Bridgeport makes the best quality Chinese food I have had for a very long time, perhaps ever. I am sorry I didn’t think of taking pictures before I ate…. The mandarin orange chicken is tender, crispy, very orangey and not too sweet and just enough batter. The Chinese ratatouille had eggplant, green peppers, and potatoes in a beautiful sauce. The sugars in the sauce were nicely caramelized, and it tasted wonderful. The rice is perfect, perfectly cooked and made with red beans Beyond the food tasting just wonderful, the subtlety of the fine cooking is not lost on me. The proportions of the ingredients, the subtlety of the batter, the beautifully cooked potatoes and eggplant… And they give you a little serving of mango cake for dessert. I would come back to this restaurant over and over and sample everything on the menu. Do yourself a favour and try it.

visit today for lunch and i ordered chicken veggie noodle in soup which is very tasty and i learn from the owner that the noodle was made by their own which is chewy., but the minced pork cooks with eggplant 🍆 with rice on side, the eggplant is very salty and when the owner asks me how's the taste of the food, i immly tell him the eggplant is salty, i am surprised he immly cook a new one for me which is very good., he said that he appreciate guests' comment which will enhance their cooking skill ! both the chef (fai gor) and the owner (mr. wong) are very kind and always drive for perfection., although it is a small shop, their shop service and attitude to customers are very polite and good, sure will come again !

Peaceful Restaurant has become a cherished destination for our family's special occasions, and we couldn't be happier with our experiences here. The private section is perfect for celebrating those important moments, and the staff's attention and care are truly remarkable. They make us feel like cherished guests every time we visit. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🤗

The set menu they offer is an absolute delight, offering a variety of delectable dishes that cater to every taste bud. Personally, I can't get enough of their fried prawns, kung apo chicken, and pork dumplings – simply mouthwatering! 🍤🍗🥟

One of the best things about this place is the peaceful and quiet, unpretentious ambiance. The restaurant is not busy at all, creating a pleasant atmosphere for laughter and togetherness as we celebrate. The comfortable seats only add to the overall enjoyable dining experience. 😌🎉

For those with a car, it's even better as the restaurant is conveniently located. It's fantastic to support a local business like Peaceful Restaurant, where you can truly feel the passion and dedication of the people behind it. 🚗🍜

All in all, we've always had a kind and pleasant time at Peaceful Restaurant, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. It has undoubtedly become a go-to spot for creating beautiful memories and savoring delectable dishes...
