It's a super tasty authentic fast-paced Chinese style restaurant. Yes that means it gets very crowded and noisy during rush hours. However, the food is amazing! If you're looking for some tasty authentic Chinese food, you gotta come here! When you order 4 dishes or more, you get rice, half a chicken, and dessert for free (that might be a dinner's special though).
The interior of the restaurant is very plain and basic. But everything is clean and sturdy. Much like the food that they serve, every dish is honest good food. If you order sweet and sour pork, you're going to get sweet and sour pork... Not balls of fried flour.
The food itself is served in large portions, meant for sharing. They are always piping hot because it's fresh out of the wok. Some ppl might find the food oily, but just tell the server if you prefer your food less oily, salty, whatever. But if you have severe food allergy... I would not recommend ppl with food allergies here during rush hour just because of the smaller size and fast pace of the restaurant.
The place gets fully booked and crowded during rush hour so we normally like to reserve our table either at 5 or at 8.

Read moreWhile busy during the lunch hour; we felt initially rushed by the gentleman who sat us when we arrived to a completely empty restaurant. Service was simple - "what do you want? Ok." type thing. The floor was overall very, very greasy and dirty. There was ample types of seating and by the time our meal arrived (which was very quick and came out hot) the restaurant was full of patrons. Lots of togo orders out the door as well. Hot tea was served automatically which was excellent. As far as taste; it was quintessential western Chinese fare. We ordered the wonton soup; the broth was very bland and lacked any depth. We also ordered the chicken and black bean sauce chow mein. Again, just okay. Heavy handed on the MSG which took away from the black bean sauce. Chicken itself was tender, veggies crisp, noodles soggy for the most part. We were looking for a quick noodle dish after a stop at Ikea and while this place is close by I wouldn't go back. Not terrible but not that...
Read moreI love this place, i have been eating here for the last 6 years. I have never experienced any issues with this restaurant before expect for today. I ordered my usual, food was great. I got in an argument with one of the ladies over the fact i did't tip enough for my meal. I had the lunch special which is $9.50 and i tipped $2, that's 20% tip. She stated that i sat i the restaurant, enjoyed my food and because of that i should tip more. I informed her i have tipped enough at which point she proceeded to tell i should never come back and that she doesn't need my money. This is very upsetting, i love the food but her attitude will forever prevent me from ever visiting the restaurant...
