I was served very rudely at this location by 463165 Linh Dio. I requested a tall pistachio frappucino. She did not make any eye contact with me which I attributed to her being busy. She said something back that I didnt understand. So i politely asked her "sorry?" She yelled back my order and said "Grande" instead of Tall. I was so taken aback by her tone and rudeness that I didnt correct her. It was extremely embarassing to be yelled at in front of other customers, who were now looking at me. She asked me my name, I said my name. She wrote it down wrong. It was time to pay so I held my phone app up close to the scanner, she pushed the scanner away with her hand, rather than explaining calmly and politely with words. She yelled again, YOU CANT USE THAT HERE. I was so confused as I just saw the customer in front of me use the scanner. I stayed calm and asked the scanner does not work? She snapped and yelled again the barcode doesnt work here okay! I said can you explain this? I don't understand. She yelled again, while grabbing the scanner with her hand, "YOU ARE DOING IT CORRECTLY, OKAY? IT DOES NOT WORK HERE" At this point, I was just shocked and quietly paid and asked for my receipt. She threw the receipt at me. I moved forward to the order pick up area. A few minutes later, she yelled my name and threw my croissant on the pick up area. Once again, I was shocked as this is the worst Ive ever been treated anywhere. Truly a horrible experience. This used to be my fav Starbucks location as I travel often. I will never be going back to this location again. I've never been treated so poorly anywhere. I usually suggest customer service training, but this goes beyond customer service. Read moreJust usual almost "predictable" bad experience with Starbucks at Vancouver airport. Leaving aside the question why on earth Starbucks in principle doesn't have a standard item of coffee with Vanilla creamer (arguably one of the most widespread and used creamers), the personnel just requires lots of time to understand that all you want is coffee with cream and Vanilla - precisely what you would make out of tens of different brands of Vanilla cream sold of the shelf cos millions of people drink coffee with it. All these explanations fall flat on their face: as a result one of the Starbucks folks brings separate coffee, a cup of cream, sugar etc - like Lego, do-it-yourself. Even that wouldn't be the total destroyer of the coffee and Starbucks experience, if it hadn't been for Starbucks' special trick - trademark magic touch - that is used to "save the day" and still screw up the coffee. They make it with the strength of real Italian expresso - like they splash a goodly pint of coffee (which is just supposed to be coffee with cream and Vanilla, usual, nothing strong) that has double or triple strength of what a usual average person in America would brew to consume not as expresso but just as usual coffee with milk or cream. To put it shortly, predictable, repeatable dog's breakfast, Starbucks all rights reserved. But the coffee beans Starbucks uses is real good quality - that's totally true. Now I’m chuffed so I ask for her to remake it BECAUSE THE TOPPING IS LITERALLY THE BEST PART she opens the cup and pours in chocolate sauce! I say no, I want the salted caramel topping please remake the drink - at this point I don’t feel like I’m being difficult I just really want the drink I want so I can sit at my gate and chill before my flight. Get a new drink and it’s got chocolate sauce. I’m almost tempted to just drink it but honestly I don’t like chocolate sauce and I’ve been looking forward to this treat all day. I walk all the way back and now the manager approaches I explain to her why I’m unhappy she says I will make it again - so I say pls make it with caramel sauce and salted caramel topping and she REMAKES IT WITH CHOCOLATE SAUCE AND SALT and now I realize I am trapped in a tornado of basic white woman despair none of this matters but I WANT MY DRINK and I taste it and she’s made it half sweet and she’s written that on my cup and in no way have I ever even uttered the words “half sweet” IN MY ENTIRE LIFE so I ask her about it and she says ALL SCM ARE MADE WITH CHOC SYRUP AND HALF SWEET OMG KILL ME I LEFT THE DRINK ON THE COUNTER AND WALKED AWAY I AM FIVE DOLLARS POORER AND VERY THIRSTY...
