the food was great but ill be honest some people are always complaining "they are to slow!" or "there's glass, rubber, etc in my food!" just because there's something thats not edible in the food does not mean they did it on purpose, it would be an accident if you do find these things in your food. when I was there I was there eating with my friend, then the table beside us started to talk about how slow the workers are and how they order 30 mins ago but it only hade been 15-20 mins. when their food finally came they started to eat, and on the edge of my eyes I saw the lady beside me pluck a strand of hair out of her hair and placed it on the food she ordered. I was sure the table beside the lady also saw. then the lady called a worker over and complained that there's hair on her food and how it's unprofessional to do that on the costumer's food. the table beside started to argue and said that she saw the lady pluck an strand of hair and pit onto the food. the lady said they didn't have proof that she put an strand of hair onto the food it was the workers fault. the table said they had a video of her doing it, and the lady was shocked and embarrassed so she got up and left a hundred dollars to the worker and left in embarrassment. turns out the table beside was just bluffing and didn't actually have a video. but the way she left we definitely knew she did put an strand of hair...
Read moreOne of the worst dining experiences in Richmond. Waited 55 minutes after ordering for our meal of two dishes: BBQ pork fried rice (aka Yang Chow/Zhou fried rice) and stir-fried eggplant wowi minced pork.
For those who are unaware of traditional cuisine, the "BBQ pork fried rice" normally comes with shrimp and....BBQ pork. Ours came with neither. No shrimp, no BBQ pork. It had egg and morselettes of cheap Chinese sausage (NOT BBQ pork). Cost $12.25.
Stir-fried eggplant with minced pork came without MINCED PORK. Enough said. Cost $13.95 for just eggplant and sauce. (Photo is after it was brought home as we don't waste food. It's edible but is definitely not what it claims to be)
When we asked the waitress about this, she said these two dishes normally comes like this. Did not have it broyght back to the kitchen and just shrugged us off. Poor service even after making us wait 55 minutes.
Also we waited 50 minutes before reminding our waitress that our food hasn't arrived yet and the food came 5 minutes later. Maybe they were looking for meat and we rushed them too early?
In summary, save your money and time. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. You're in Richmond, home of some of the best Asian food in the world. I'm frankly embarrassed to have this restaurant in my...
