the food was great but ill be honest some people are always complaining "they are to slow!" or "there's glass, rubber, etc in my food!" just because there's something thats not edible in the food does not mean they did it on purpose, it would be an accident if you do find these things in your food. when I was there I was there eating with my friend, then the table beside us started to talk about how slow the workers are and how they order 30 mins ago but it only hade been 15-20 mins. when their food finally came they started to eat, and on the edge of my eyes I saw the lady beside me pluck a strand of hair out of her hair and placed it on the food she ordered. I was sure the table beside the lady also saw. then the lady called a worker over and complained that there's hair on her food and how it's unprofessional to do that on the costumer's food. the table beside started to argue and said that she saw the lady pluck an strand of hair and pit onto the food. the lady said they didn't have proof that she put an strand of hair onto the food it was the workers fault. the table said they had a video of her doing it, and the lady was shocked and embarrassed so she got up and left a hundred dollars to the worker and left in embarrassment. turns out the table beside was just bluffing and didn't actually have a video. but the way she left we definitely knew she did put an strand of hair...

One of the worst dining experiences in Richmond. Waited 55 minutes after ordering for our meal of two dishes: BBQ pork fried rice (aka Yang Chow/Zhou fried rice) and stir-fried eggplant wowi minced pork.

For those who are unaware of traditional cuisine, the "BBQ pork fried rice" normally comes with shrimp and....BBQ pork. Ours came with neither. No shrimp, no BBQ pork. It had egg and morselettes of cheap Chinese sausage (NOT BBQ pork). Cost $12.25.

Stir-fried eggplant with minced pork came without MINCED PORK. Enough said. Cost $13.95 for just eggplant and sauce. (Photo is after it was brought home as we don't waste food. It's edible but is definitely not what it claims to be)

When we asked the waitress about this, she said these two dishes normally comes like this. Did not have it broyght back to the kitchen and just shrugged us off. Poor service even after making us wait 55 minutes.

Also we waited 50 minutes before reminding our waitress that our food hasn't arrived yet and the food came 5 minutes later. Maybe they were looking for meat and we rushed them too early?

In summary, save your money and time. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. You're in Richmond, home of some of the best Asian food in the world. I'm frankly embarrassed to have this restaurant in my...

if ur looking for some 鸡/ji then go to wang ji (hahaah get it) CUZ BRO their chicken was PERFECTLY COOKED with the most silky moist succlent texture paired with a flavourful green onion oil making u wanna devour the whole dish in one sitting 4.4/5 yet another delightful dish was their shrimp as it was sweet and fresh with its seasoning complementing its freshness instead of overshadowing it 4/5 next off is their fragrant and perfectly cooked salted egg yolk green peas- that was crunchy but hits u with its fragrance in an instant, flooding ur whole mouth with its beautiful flavour 4/5 however everything else was kinda... the black pepper beef dish used too much baking soda so it tasted like an unknown meat drowned in an overly salty sauce 2/5 the pepper tofu tasted like plain tofu with non-existent seasoning 1/5 its spareribs were SO sweet that even dessert is less sweet, as if its tryna hide its sourness from the vinegar... its not even edible 0/5 however its steamed fish was real fresh and had that sweetness that only fresh fish have, tho its sauce lacks flavor...

Had a really delicious dinner here last night! Portions were good, flavours on point and prices were reasonable. We opted to go with more Cantonese style dishes but their extensive menu includes typical dishes from Taiwan to Shanghai. Yellow chicken - Probably the best I ever had. Meaty, juicy and came with a side of dipping soy sauce. I requested for a small side of ginger and onion sauce that usually comes with the chicken for no additional charge. Eggplant - Tons of sauce and plump egg and cooked to perfection. The dish also included some tree mushrooms and carrots which was nice! Egg yolk shrimp - Omg the sweet and savory salty duck egg yolk coating on the shrimp was divine. Black pepper steak sizzling plate - Juicy and tender pieces of steak served with red and green peppers. Service was good and our teas were consistently refilled. Food came out quickly and hot. Everyone loved the food and we will definitely be back to try out the other items on their extensive menu.

Website says open 11:30am, except when closed on Monday, arrived 11:45am they already was full. They were busy yet Garden City Shopping Plaza still has lots of parking, and the car stalls are more spacious than most in Richmond. However, inside was a bit cramped and tight for seating. Service was slow, we orderd five seperate but the dishes came out staggered, each item come out almost consecutively after we finish one, a bit disappointing 😞 appetizer took 30 minutes. We ended sharing Prices seem on par with other restaurants in the area, they do accept credit card which I consider a bonus in the area. The noodle was oily and salty, but the rest of the food decent for the limited choices in this neighbourhood.
