Horrible service at this location, I've gone here 4 times in the last 2 months or so and each time I had an issue.
I almost always use the drive-thru, so that's where most of my issues have occured.
The first issue was the fact that their card machine was down in the drive-thru, luckily I had cash on me that day (one of the rare times I was carrying cash). Ok, whatever it happens, technology isn't always cooperative.
The next time I went, maybe 2 weeks later, they turned me away at the drive-thru because their system was updating or something and was told to come inside. I had my 3 year old with me so that wasn't an option and we ended up going elsewhere.
The time after that, probably a week or two later, drive-thru again, this time I'm told the register at the drive-thru isn't working so I have to come inside, well, I had my 3 year old with me once again so that's not an option. This time I asked the guy if I can do a mobile order, he said I could. So I parked, placed my mobile order and went to the drive-thru to pick it up. I'm told to pull ahead and wait for my order (even though the drive-thru isn't even operating). They brought the food out after about 10 minutes, but forgot the drinks, then the woman came back with some random drinks I didn't even order, so I had to drive back around the drive-thru and yell at someone to come to the window to get me my correct drinks. In total, about a 20 minute process to get "fast food".
So today, I left the kid at home and ditched the drive-thru and went inside. Order was correct... Except they forgot the toy in my daughter's kid's meal... Like really???
I understand that the food service industry isn't an easy place to work, especially fast food and accidents do happen but why even have a drive-thru if it never works? How do you forget the toy in a kid's meal??? That's literally the most important...
Read moreFor a nearly new establishment it’s sad to see that this restaurant is on the decline.
I ordered via the Wendy’s app and was impressed by all of the features and ease of use. I selected dine in and was nearby I selected the option to get my food ready.
I walked into the restaurant and they are keeping up with social distancing, hand sanitizers available and staff cleaning the lobby. The washroom however was a total mess. The toilet was malfunctioning and there is inadequate cleaning and ventilation taking place.
I know this is a fast food joint but to be totally honest, I started my working career at a fast food joint. I felt privileged just to be able to clean the washrooms and lobby, it was a tough job for $5/hour.
I feel the employees and management here are neglecting basic hygiene and routine cleaning of the entire restaurant (includes washroom). There is a sense of entitlement amongst the staff and that is very sad to see they feel no privilege to work for Wendy’s.
The food was awful on the first go too. My burger patty had been cooked hours before and the staff tried to serve me this. It’s totally unacceptable and not the fresh quality Wendy’s is known for. I asked for a fresh burger and the staff promptly cooked me a new patty and the second burger was excellent. Still, this should not happen and I pity anyone who uses this location for drive thru or Uber eats.
I hope that the management or even corporate level management will read this review and reply that they are either outsourcing the cleaning of the washroom on regular intervals or working on team cohesion to get everyone on board when it comes to cleaning, quality control and customer service.
I won’t return until I see a reply and discourage anyone from eating here. Richmond public health inspections has...
Read moreVisited again. Still horrible - and worse this time. Ordered two drinks and they started to hand them to me one by one. Indicated I needed a drink tray. Drive through person look exasperated that I wanted a tray. She hands it to me and as I get it right in front of me one of the drink drops and spills on me. The only concession that it happened that she gave me was asked if I needed napkins for that. Seriously? Absolutely yes. I put it down and then started to wipe myself of the pop all over my chest belly and legs, and of course the seat of the car etc. I've barely begun to wipe and get asked to move the car forward because the food is going to take a couple of minutes. I indicated hey I'm a little busy here wiping up the mess. About a minute later another person comes up and asked me to move forward. I indicate I am still trying to clean and there is nobody behind me and drive-thru. So no. As I was just about done someone finally came to drive through, and my food was ready. I encourage everyone to not pull ahead unless there is other people behind them. Having worked in fast food for 17 years I know what they're trying to do - drive through times I reported to head office and/or looked at by the owners. If there is high Times they question it. With nobody behind me and drive-thru why would I pull forward? From an employee safety aspect, why would you want to expose them to pulling forward when they have to go outside of the...
