Worst dining experience I've ever had! Group of 6 wanting to enjoy a few beers and dinner on the new outdoor "patio". The restaurant was about half capacity and so was the patio. Only 3 of us ordered mains and they took over an hour to arrive. In that time we had to walk into the restaurant and ask the server for another round of drinks since we hadn't been checked up on for 45+ minutes. Once the food arrived the server left our table without asking myself and another if we wanted a beer as our glasses were empty. My burger looked and tasted as though it had been finished an hour before hand. The fries had lost their crunch and were cold. The burger was at room temperature and the bottom bun was soaked and mushy with juice from what I assume was juice from the burger. After a second bite of the burger I decided to throw in the towel on dinner. No one returned to ask how our food was. 20 minutes later I walked in and ordered another round for the table because the server still had not been back. Once the drinks arrived still no one asked how the food was or to clear the plates. After our drinks arrived the server came back to check on us and we requested our bill. The bill took a long time to come out and when they finally did all the orders were wrong. When the new bills arrived they were wrong again. At this point we asked for the manager. She came out with the 3rd bills. At this point it had been over an hour since we asked for our bills. We told her that the wait times and lack of service was unacceptable. She totally disregarded our complaints and was super ignorant and rude. We paid our bills and left laughing about how the whole experience was bizarre and insane. All in all over 3 hours to have 3 beer and 2 bites of a burger and fries. We...
Read moreSo this is more than likely going to be deleted as 48 likes to delete their bad reviews, but me and my best friend and I just had one of the worst experiences here. Me and my friend love going to 48 as the food is quite good. We love to chat and catch up. One day, we had a server, and I'm pretty sure her name is Lisa. She's the manager or owner, and I'm not 100 percent sure, but she wasn't very attentive, and we had to wave her over to get refills on drinks. We had decided not to go there when she was working because of how rude she was and that we had to grab her attention just to get our bill or order , but tonight we did and thought we'd give her a second chance. The same thing happened, but we shrugged it off and watched the oliers game. We had paid our bill, which was $71.40, and left about a 10 dollar tip. Later my friend was outside and she went outside and was mad at her wondering why she didn't tip her very well and how she apparently tips all her waitress 100%, mind you she is around 40 years old and my friend is 18, who literally just graduated high-school, so she doesn't work a whole lot, yet she expects an 18 year old to tip 100% on a 70 dollar bill. How unprofessional. My best friend ended up crying and leaving. How mature of an adult woman to bully a 18 year old who went out to have a good time and complain that she only tipped you 2 dollars, which is a lie. Honestly, as a server myself, I'm happy if I even get a tip. How selfish and ignorant do you have to be to get mad and a 18 year old girl because she "tipped bad." I do not recommend going here or at least when she is working. Horrible experience. Honestly, she should be fired...
Read moreIf you happen to visit Rocky Mountain House, you really have to stop by 48, I do not usually do the pub atmosphere, just not my thing. I happen to visit 48 to fix something. I was delightfully surprised by how nice and cozy it was for such a big place. The staff led by the Manager Lisa is exceptional, friendly, quick, and efficient, and I could go on. Stephanie, one of the bartenders suggest I try their Prime Rib Beef dip. I love a good beef dip, but honestly, I avoid prime rib due to how fatty it can be. I decided to take a risk, and so I ordered the Prime Rib Beef Dip. At first.glance , I'd like any other beef dip when I picked it up. That's where I started to notice that this was not just another beef dip. The bun was light and soft, and the aroma coming off the sandwich was nothing short of heavenly. I took my first bite and was taken back to my Dad's cooking at his restaurant. My Dad could make any piece of meat taste like the best cut of meat out there. The Prime Rib Beef Dip did not disappoint, so much flavor combined perfectly in every bite. I have been craving the Prime Rib Beef Dip since I had it back in December. I was lucky enough to be in Rocky Mountain House last week around my birthday, so I had to stop in and order one again. The second time was as good as the first time. Even if you do not enjoy a good beef dip, all of their food their looked mouth-watering as I saw it past by me. You must go visit 48 you will not be disappointed. PS, their fries are crazy good as well. Thank you again to the staff of 48 for making me...
