HORRIBLE FOOD AND COMPLETE DISRESPECT FROM STAFF!!!
I have been eating at this restaurant for a number of years and have always found the food and service to be respectable. Unfortunately tonight my family and friends had sushi served to us that tasted like dirty mop water. We expressed the issue to our waitress, instead of appologising for the inconvience and looking at a way to correct the problem/replace the disgusting plate in front us, the waitress arogantly answered us by saying did you try them all? We tried another one and were almost immediately sick. We asked for them to leave with the plate and asked for the manager. The manager never came to see us, instead my friend had to get up and go complain to the manager. The manager simply said i dont have time to come and see you. Needless to say at this point all we wanted to do was leave this disgusting restaurant. We had to wait like 20 minutes for them to give us the bill even though we wrere standing at the cash. We were expected to pay the full amount for this horrible food and complete disrespect towards there customers. So we said we will only pay for what we ate therefore no sushi they refused to address there incompetence and instead threatened us by calling the police claiming we didnt want to pay. They ended up taking 10% off the bill, esentially a slap in our face. I guess they get a lot of unhappy customers that actually leave without paying. The miso soup - SUPER SALTY and nothing inside - no tofu, no seaweed - nothing but SALT!
The beef teriyaki - was switched for a horrible chicken dish, which looked and tasted so unappetizing and the chicken itself - older than my 14 year old running shoes, and tasting about the same in consistency and flavor. When I called the restoraunt, the clerk apologized and said that yes, thats their Teriyaki chicken... That looked like anything but.
The sushi - it looked horrible and tasted just as bad. Spicy salmon sushi was a salmon roll with a smidge of wasabi and a bunch of avocado.... there was a cooked chicken roll???what is that? The california roll was half the size it should be. ... We hosted my parents for dinner and it was a disgrace!
We don't go out often, we don't order take out often, and to have this kind of disappointment... I am sorry, but it's unacceptable! Our entire evening was pretty much ruined. Now, it's been about an hour since we ate this horrible food and we all feel sick. My father went out to get Peptobismol! :(
The only reason I didn't drive back with the food was because we were starved and didn't have time or patience to wait for a new order. I even took pictures of the food, thats how disappointed I was, I wanted to have proof of this disaster.

Read moreI am giving one star because it is not an option to give 0. My mother and I went for supper here on many occasions since we are from Rosemere and its the most convenient location for us. We went again last Monday night, ordered a variety of things as usual. After receiving only half of our order, the waitress came by once again to pick up some plates and never passed by to see us again. We waited 25 minutes before deciding to leave as no one showed any interest in coming to serve us again. There was only one waitress and hostess working that night. When we got to the counter to pay, the hostess agreed that she’d already mentioned to the manager that they shouldve had more staff scheduled and that she refused to add more staff for that night. I left my phone number and name for the manager to call back, and had to call back myself as I’d heard nothing back nearly a week later. When I called, she gave us the excuse that it was busy and she wasnt there that night so there’s nothing she could do. Then she followed these comments by asking us “if we knew how much she had to catch up on after taking vacation?” As a customer, is it my job to do your job? I don’t think so. The woman in charge is the most arrogant person ive ever spoken to in the restaurant industry and thinks she is above everyone. Myself, I work as a waitress and never in my life have I served anyone as terribly as this. Never again, worst experience...
