JCC Victoria Lox, Stock and Bagel Deli — Restaurant in Saanich

We are tourists happening along this eatery almost by chance...found it on the internet. For lunch only...All volunteer servers/cooks, but made with love and care, "authentic" meat/dairy Jewish (ashkenazi) deli food. Chicken soup with Matzah balls that are, as advertised , light and fluffy. Cheese blintzes (cheese crepes) are wonderful with dollops of sour cream and blueberry capote. As good as my mother's. ..better than my bubbie's . Pastrami was non-fatty and delicious...had to take home the coleslaw...too full. Lots (or lox) of other menu choices. Ample parking outside and a large expanse of dining hall space inside...So come, eat..eat... fresse, fresse...what can be bad? Very...

A group of 4 people were ahead of me but.. not ordering looking at gifts. I am disabled use a cane and standing is hard. Lady taking orders would not take mine until the group decided to order. Eventually they did but I could not stand waiting any longer had to leave . Not friendly staff like other reviews say. At least...

I have searching Victoria for a takeout place to get a bagel with lox and this place hit it out of the park. The price is reasonable for the portion side and the food quality is top tier.
