We went into this Tim Hortons to grab a quick coffee and something for breakfast when we were visiting the nearby Animal Hospital the cashier was probably the rudest Tim Hortons employee I have ever encountered. When I asked her for a splash of decaf coffee in a french vanilla she looked at me and said we don't have decaf. I know this to be untrue and was literally looking at the carafe of decaf coffee. I asked her about three different ways until she finally understood what I was asking for and said okay. I ordered six muffins to go and she told me we couldn't have a pumpkin spice muffin, but didn't explain why. She eventually just rolled her eyes and put a pumpkin spice muffin in the Box. Then they gave me my daughters ice cap which we always get with 2% milk instead of cream, they made it with cream. When I asked him to remake it, the man working behind the counter looked at me as though I had asked for his first born child. When the girl handed me my box of muffins she basically threw it on the counter and the box was not closed, so that was fun. When the man remade the ice cap he also slammed it down on the counter and would not even look at me. I understand language barriers, being the daughter of two immigrant parents I also understand the importance of being polite as this is what I was taught. If I was to act like that in any of the jobs I've ever worked I would expect to be fired. I remember this location having great food and the owner ran a tight ship so to speak, I'm not sure if the same person owns it or if he sold it but I will never go there again. There was not one single person who spoke even enough English to understand me, there were people waiting in line that just gave me a look of understanding because they too were waiting for their subpar food and had also received subpar service. Take out food is not cheap, nothing these days is, so I expect to get what I pay for and it never seems to happen. Every single time we bring our business to an establishment, we are utterly disappointed. It has literally come to the point where the only option that leaves one satisfied and not out a bunch of money is staying home and...
Read moreThis is my favorite Tim Hortons. This is my to go place if like to hangout at the parking lot during my coffee break or during my free time. But my exprience recently was not so good ( I will not disclose any date, time and who was working during my visit to give the store the benefit of the doubt ).. I always comes here regularly, and i usually ask to use the bathroom while waiting for my coffee. So it all started when i ordered Xlarge , 3 cream and 4 sugar. my Bill was 3.65 so i gave the cashier 4.65 so i can get a dollar back. She didnât gave my change, so i told her i still have a dollar change, maybe she was just confused or busy, but she still gave my dollar back anyway. Then i asked her if i can use the washroom, she told me she will buzz me in, so i went to the washroom door but nothing is happening maybe because she didnât open the door for me, so i went back in front to asked her again, and she told me iâd just buzz you!!! and she seems to be so upset..So as a customer for a long time, i was shocked about her attitude, i told her you didnât buzz me in, because if she did, i would hear the door clicks, but nothing was happening when im trying to open the door. And she never admit that she didnât open the door for me. And i told her that she was not paying attention on her job, and then she told me that, she was just by herself, as if it was my fault that she was working in that kind of situation. So i told her, it was not my problem. I know this was a simple thing, but it will have a tremendous impact on customer experience specially on those who comes...
Read moreIt's so weird seeing some of the reviews for this place (good & bad) that shows reviews with photos that don't even belong to this specific Tim Hortons location (reported those reviews due to lack of accuracy)
What I will tell you that in the past this location was alright but has completely tanked over the years. Apparently the staff in this location, although slightly polite to converse, has completely allow the overall hygiene of the restaurant to go rock bottom.
Last month was the first time I stepped in to use their washrooms as a rest stop first then to perhaps order something on the go. Well, the facilities inside were so filthy, putrid & asinine that even deep cleaning filth left by previous tenants in my last move out didn't seem as gross. One can always tell if a restaurant is okay by inspecting the hygiene & cleanliness of the premises. Well, forget about the bar; it has been dropped with the bar cratering to the planet's core. I don't even understand how filth of this magnitude doesn't gets this place reported to Island Health's public health inspection, resulting this place either written up or shut down?
Needless to say, I left the place without ordering & gasped for air outside before I get too nauseated to hurl in their parking lot. Let's hope this site gets some form of reform soon or else it should be shut down. -1 points for myself for not taking photos of the washroom but a restaurant is supposed to review food, not...
