Well, well… from the outside it looked like a nice and cozy coffee shop. It was a breezy morning so we decided to have a hot drink. First time there (perhaps last one too). Hubby speaks very good French (with a little accent) so no language barriers there. He approached the counter and ordered two coffees and the lady behind the counter demanded the payment in cash ONLY (and had to be Canadian currency)! OMG! It’s the touristy downtown area and you cannot expect every single customer to have cash readily available. And they didn’t even have an ATM machine inside this little coffeeshop. Anyway, that attitude really turned us off and we left.
