I got COVID after dodging it for two years so I thought it was a great opportunity to go carb crazy. This is definitely a great choice. I ordered Penne alla Gigi (solo) with garlic bread via UberEats.
The UberEats app doesnât have the ingredients listed on the individual portion listing, only the family one, which would be good for them to update.
The Penne alla Gigi was everything I hoped. The crunchy green onion slices. The cubes of prosciutto (Iâd have like them a bit smaller but itâs still amazing), and the thick little quartered mushrooms that explode with juicy goodness all mixed in what I think was the best rosĂ© sauce Iâve had in a while. Itâs creamy, flavourful, rich, and there is the faintest little tinge of what I can imagine was the white wine. I will definitely will be getting this again for any potluck or picnic I have when Iâm not sick. This stuff made having Covid great for having the excuse to indulge in it.
Petty critique is simply that the garlic bread is a ciabatta, split in half, with butter, some garlic and what is probably parsley. Not sure Iâd have paid 6$ for that again but for how tasty the pasta was I can get over that easily. I get they had to put someone to put it in the oven and prep it so I think if youâre reading this considering garlic bread but donât want to pay 6$, you can always make a quickie garlic bread at home in a convection oven or melt some butter with parsley and minced garlic, brush it over a freshly toasted bread thatâs still warm and youâll have it all

The first time we dined in. We were seated literally in the direction of the kitchen, hard for staff to miss us right? Well, took them 1.5 to bring our food as we watched them serve every single table that came after us. The manager came and apologized and brought us dessert. We were completely understanding and our tummies left happy!
Second time was take out. I called in specifically for the fettuccine alfredo and added a $7 grilled chicken. Guess whose meal did not get the grilled chicken when I opened up the food at home? đ
Third time was yesterday via ubereats. 1) my husband never received his gamberi pasta and 2) there was goat cheese on my radiatore pasta when I specifically added it in my notes in english AND french: No goat cheese please!! And sure enough, there was goat cheese all over the pasta. You can't even pick that stuff off, it just disintegrated all over the place.
So myself, husband and toddler ate the individual (small) margarita pizza which thankfully arrived with my order.

I heard the conversation with the hostess and her friend that there was no room but she would see what she could do, after checking the bar which was full a table for two came available and she suddenly told her friend i have a table for you and was going to sit her friend. After I confronted the situation the hostess lied saying that her friend had a reservation but her friend said she did not have one; that she tried but it did not work.
