It was okay. The service at first was very good. The food was okay. What upset me was that we went as a group for a birthday dinner and the birthday girl ordered her filet mignon blue. When it arrived, it was not to her liking (it came rare) so it was returned to the kitchen. A lot of time had gone by and I got the attention of the manager. When I explained that it had been a long time since the plate was returned he gave the answer that the steak could not be cooked until it was room temperature since it came out of the fridge (which he was 100% right about) Here is what upset me. 1.) Rather than take the plate back and say that it might take a bit longer since the steak had to rest they said nothing. 2.) The manager argued with me that "Blue" could be interpreted in different ways and that maybe my friend's idea of blue differed from theirs. 3.) One of our other guests ordered the same thing and it was rarer than hers. The manager asked why they didn't just swap steaks if that was the case. This is not the right way to manage customer's expectations. The steak should have been returned, we should have been warned that it would take longer, and that would be the end of it. Management 101: Never blame the customer for your mistake. Take it, apologize, correct it, move on. The manager did give us a complimentary bottle of wine for the table which was nice. Oh and the slice of birthday cake my friend got had a piece of tape on it....
Read moreAt 1pm we arrived on Sunday and they close at 2pm for breakfast the chef in the kitchen kicked us out sating they will take no more customers directives from Claude an Benoit, who are the chefs in the kitchen today. We come here quite often for breakfast and our favorite cheese burgers. However 1hr prior to closing with one couple waiting in front of us, they decide to kick us out with tables that were free that we witnessed. That's called working for a paycheck and certainly not for pleasure!!! We would have been and out of there within 45 minutes. Their loss of 60 $ for a couple who would have been out prior to their closing time. Service is horrible these days! So funny they ask if we dined in and for what meal. I had no choice but to say other but...

The lunch menu here is quite full awesome and even more the price. 10$ for a table d’hôte!
Had a soup, coffee, my main and plenty of warm bread with a fluffed warm butter (nothing worse than trying to spreading cold butter on fresh fragile bread)
There is a bar side (TV’s everywhere for sports) and lounge side having great A1 seating. While the view is a highway, the terrace looks like it can have potential in the summer months. Menu for dinner is all about comfort food and has something for everybody, had it in the past and was worth this review then.
March break kids eat for 3$
Honestly, a true gem where you would least expect...
