La Belle & La Boeuf - Burger Bar - Saint-Jerôme — Restaurant in Saint-Jérôme

This is a bit of a low score review just based on our order, but we've gone in the past and it was better.

Part of this is my fault, I chose the Pac Mac, which is a burger with a bun made of fried mac n cheese. Sounds epic, really is just a mess. You can hold the burger, the mac and cheese had broken off already, so this is more of a fork and knife burger. Overall, even with smoked bacon, the burger lacked seasoning, in the mac n cheese, in the patty, and condiments wise. The patty is a bit bland and meaty, this burger needs some type of sauce that would bring it all together. My wife had the goat burger, which was much better, but in some spots, it didn't have the goat cheese, then it lacked in flavor. The restaurant is very nice looking and the bar is extensive and on display which is very cool. The amount of different burger variations is very good, and we'll definitely return to test the other offerings. Prices are high, but the burger patties are pretty big, the burgers do look epic. The accompanying coleslaw was not to our liking, very bland, nothing discerning to the location, feels like a...

Really bad service, restaurant was almost empty but the waitress wasn't friendly or professional at all. She preferred to chat with some friends then to help us. Instead of a cheese burger with bacon they bring a plain dry burger with nothing on it. When we told her she said she would bring the bacon and the cheese but she bring only 2 boring slice of cheese on a plate, no bacon ... And the charged extra for the cheese. We ordered drinks with less ice... She actually said with less ice but there was no differece. When since of us wanted the bill because they had a long drive she was rude and answered that we were not the only guests. We ordered a second round of drinks and had to wait 20 minutes before she come back (Again she was too busy talking to her friends) Worst service i eger had. Food is not good, dry burgers, poutine with fries from the freezer, watery drinks... Overpriced and terrible...

The food and dj where really good, but our waitress was the worst. Looking at us and other customers with a disgusted and annoyed face whenever someone asked for something. We wanted to order our food at the same time as our drinks and she refused and said she would come back. We then asked for a heater on the terrace to be turned on and she just looked up and walk away, we had to ask another person a while after. In the end a guy came and tried to turn 4 of them on which none were working. After we paid, she asked us hypocritically if someone was able to turn on the heater, laughed and blamed it on the manager in training. It was honestly a bas experience and of we ever go back and she is our waitress again I will make sure to ask for someone...
