Second Cup Café — Restaurant in Saint John

I had come to this location a few days in a row, and a couple of the staff members knew my order and were pleasant and joked around with me, making conversation. By all means, I think that I probably would have kept coming to this location for my afternoon coffees for a long time, because it's close to my house and the coffee is fine; however, I'm probably literally never going to go to this Second Cup again, because one of the employees– Hannah, specifically, was so sincerely mean to me that I'll probably just go to the Starbucks down the street instead. Why would I want to be served by someone who– clearly, has no professional composure or a will to see the same customers more than once?

Hannah is the single least professional person that I've ever had the genuine displeasure of being served by. In all likelihood, she should not be allowed to work customer service– or, perhaps, anything involving people. She'd maybe make a good executioner, or a profitable therapist, or some other job involving making people miserable and/or profiting off of the misery of human beings she's never met before. Absurdly slow service. I have had slow service frequently but this last time took the cake. It wasn’t busy and there were 4 staff. I was the only customer at the counter, and there were maybe 4 cars in the drive through. How do I know how many cars were in the drive thru? Because they were all served and gone, there was no car at the window, and still nobody had even started my coffee. Finally someone started it, but they were out of cream in cartons and the dispenser needed to be changed. I was only told what the holdup was a couple minutes later. Then when the cream dispenser was changed, it looked like there was another problem, maybe with the hot water. Another minute or two to hand me my coffee. Without the cream. This process took...

First time in this location. It's super clean with a great melange of furnishings to capture whatever your mood happens to be on any particular day. The product offering is standard SC fare, which is always good. I had Chai Tea Latte, my current fav hot bevvie, and a gluten-free peanut butter bomb treat thingie. OMG. It was the bomb!
