First time here, last time here. Only good point was the good food and good coffee. Other than that, disappointing. The parking lot is very inconvenient, but i understand thats out of their control. But, we show up and nobody assigns us a table or greets us. We finally choose a table ourselves and it takes about 15 minutes for someone to come see us. A nice lady ( at first) then comes and takes our order. We get our plates and she leaves not asking if we need anything else. 3 times she passes by without once looking at us, i needed mayo... so after about half an hour where no one has come to see us, my boyfriend had to get up to go to the counter where he stood there and our waitress was texting and the others didnt bother asking if he needed anything. Now time to pay, we have been done for about 10 minutes, no bill yet! We finally decide to get up and go see our waitress who is STILL on her phone ( we are 2 feet away, she knows we are there), it takes a good 2 minutes where i cough multiple times for her to aknowleage us & make us pay. Never again!! unfortunately the service doesn’t hold up to the quality of the food. Not...
Read moreReally not that worth it. Potatoes were raw and tasteless and the eggs were very moist. They slapped cold sauce on top of it with a full rotten avocado. My girlfriend took the egg benedict and I took the Arizona omelette. Her eggs were tasteless. I asked for extra hollandaise sauce, they gave me jelly water. It was nasty. I asked the waiter for a latte, he went running and I didn’t even have a second to ask him to switch the milk for oat milk. When I ran to him, he said in an annoyed way that he already started the machine. What an inconvenience for him. He forgot to bring milk for my girlfriend’s coffee. Took the order in a rapid way talking over us. What a horrible experience, especially when trying to have an enjoyable last day experience not knowing how long we’ll be in a lockdown. The only reason that I agreed to go there in the first place with my girlfriend is because Petinos was out of potatoes and it was the last day before the lockdown. As much as I’d like to say the lack of effort in both taste and presentation is because it was the last day before the lockdown and maybe the workers were over it. But I...
Read moreLocation: In the heart of Saint-Sauveur village. Street parking is available though may be harder to come by on weekends.
The place: We sat indoors because there was no room on the terrace. The interior has more of a bar vibe than a brunch vibe (but that's my personal opinion). The place was quiet since most people were seated outdoors.
The goods: I would love to jump on board with all of the 5-star reviews but the reality is that the food here is basic. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and this came with potatoes. The breakfast sandwich was made with no egg. The waiter quickly rectified the situation by going to get a fried egg which he brought to my table. That being said, the breakfast sandwich had zero seasoning and was therefore quite bland even with the bacon. The potatoes were nicely fried and they were not oily but again, no seasoning whatsoever. It was a bit disappointing. The saving grace was the coffee, which was delicious.
Service: OK
Price point: Pricing is average and on par with...
