When a close friend HIGHLY recommended it, I knew it was "must"! Reservations, for 2, were booked in advance (for dinner July 15th, 2023). It is off to a bad start when the hostess does not come see all the clients waiting in line. Instead, she is just falsely tries to accommodate large groups whom had no decency to make a reservation, only to say "sorry, no can do". So, after waiting 15 minutes in line, she gets to us and says "I was about to check you off since you're late. Oh, can you close the door behind you?". We're seated at a table in the terrace, which was quite nice. However, we were placed right by the door, in the middle of the terrace dans plein milieu de toute traffic. The hostess (Isabelle) asks us to "remain patient" as they are "short-staffed". Ok, no worries, we are on vacay I say. Isabelle obviously took my comment to heart as we were forgotten ALL throughout the meal. Not to mention that another table being served by her ended up snacking on the Bonbon candies they bought. The 3 (elderly) women kept explaining that they were headed home and needed to arrive before dark. In the meantime, we witnessed every other table being served in a timely manner (by much younger waiters). One waiter was skinny and not yet 18. He chitchatted with his Italian table (2 Italian couples) about everything (cruises he's been on, his real estate business he started with his dad, etc.). The other taller and big footer guy explained he was working summers to save money for school. Yet, we waited on Isabelle for what seemed like forever. I ordered a semi-bottle of Kim Crawford. My spouse ordered a beer. 2. I received the wine and she suggested bringing us an ice bucket to keep it cold. I said it was not necessary, but she insisted. OK, cool........WE NEVER GOT IT We waited on the beer. I started drinking the half-bottle of wine since we just had to wait "patiently" We had to remind her upon ordering our food that we were still waiting on the beer. She admitted "oh, sorry, I punched it into the computer but forgot to bring it". BRAVO.....vrm pas fort. 4. Entrées were GREAT! Hot and sour soup, the wonton and the dumplings were amazing. You can tell that everything is made fresh from the moment they get the order so it's expected to have to wait longer. 5. We get our entrées. Table with the 3 ladies finally get their meal (after at least a 1 hour wait). Two couples arrive and get better seats than us. 6. We patiently wait for our food but with no appearance from our waitress/hostess. 7. The other 2 couples are being served by the 2 waiters. 8. We are now upset, after waiting for 2.5 hours. Dirty looks are sent to Isabelle. 9. My spouse finally gets his meal but mine is nowhere to be found. I finally get it after 5 minutes (it would be nice to eat together, no?). My chicken is dry (sec) and Isabelle never asks us once if the meal is OK. 10. The other 2 couples WHO ARRIVED AFTER US, HAVE PAID THEIR BILL AND HAVE LEFT. 11. I didn't eat the chicken and left it on the side of my plate bcuz it is just so dried out). The sauce and flavours, however, are fantastic!!!! 12. I am very HAPPY to admit that Isabelle got a ZERO tip. This is a FIRST in MY LIFE. Having worked in the service industry, I am sympathetic to waiters/waitresses. This, however, was truly horrendous!!!! Isabelle did not follow any basic skill (except for bad PR). Note to the owners: You may be short on staff but you are losing a tremendous amount of clients because of LOUSY SUB-PAR SERVICE. To the owners: Despite being short-staffed, PLEASE set expectations. If you cannot accommodate clientele, DO NOT take extra reservations. Upon discussing this with my friend, I learned he came during the week and his experience was GREAT. He also mentioned that his waiter was a "younger gentleman". It seems that you cannot handle a big crowd. Note: a bad hostess/waitress is not good for business. TO BE AVOIDED ON WEEKENDS AND HIGH SEASON - Otherwise worth a try. Note to Labelle's comment: At least you got a complimentary wine. We...

Visited this place last Sunday evening with my friend. The place was not busy or crowded and it was around 8 pm on a Sunday. The waiter/owner? was very polite and courteous. For an Asian restaurant the decor is very classic and clean. Linen table cloths and table set with silverware and wine glasses. *(There is another tokinese place down the street the food is also good but the ambience somewhat cheap). At the piment Thai the menu has a great selection. However, we both asked if some of the items could be modified as vegetarian. This wasn't a problem. I got the hot and sour soup with vegetables. It was delicious! I also had spring rolls which were very good. My friend had vegetables with peanut sauce ad extra tofu. She said it was delicious! We were talking so much we lost track of time -the place closes around 9.30. Even though we were last to leave the waiter was very patient and did not rush us. I would definitely recommend it and...

So disappointing. We got the raviolis, fried rice, and tom kha gai soup, for takeout. The soup was the smallest portion of soup I've ever seen for a Thai restaurant, and it had the barest amount of chicken in little shreds. Not any bite size or larger pieces like you get in every Thai restaurant on the planet. There wasn't any coconut milk in it either, just a crazy amount of salt.

The raviolis were unpleasant flimsy wet pieces of dough with a sad little lump of meat inside. The peanut sauce that came with them was overwhelmingly sweet. One bite was enough.

The fried rice was $22.95!! for rice with dry bits of chicken and supposedly some shrimp. Overall the whole meal felt like a ripoff for very low quality.

You can get better Thai food at any mall food court. This place is a...

Great food, great service, decent pricing. We have eaten here a few times over the years and it never disappoints. This time I had the table d'hote Garlic and pepper beef. The wonton soup was flavorful, the imperials rolls were small but tasty and the garlic pepper beef with rice was really good. The broth was full of flavor and I felt like I got my money's worth of beef. We ordered the fried ice cream for dessert and that was delicious. Great little place to eat that has a terrace for the summer.

In short: AMAZING 👏 I was blown away by the flavours each dish had. Totally would drive from mtl to saint sauver in a heartbeat to munch on this meal again. Service was friendly. The food was soooo good I wanted more of it. Price is slightly high but totally worth every cent. I just wish the atmosphere was a bit better/inviting. Very somber and mysterious during the evening lol 😆 but I guess it's supposed to be romantic
