Good for take out. Not for dinning in. They donât know how to run the dining room. Itâs a hot mess. Iâve been told by others not to dine in, didnât listen and tried it yesterday. Should have listened to the advice;
We were seated at 17:30. At 19:00 the waiter tells us, thereâs one more order then itâs our turn. whatâs even nuttier is that the dining room was full and only one Pizza came out to the dining room the entire time we were seated. So weâre in a pizza joint, no pizza coming out of oven to dining room, droves of takeout tho⊠we end up leaving not having eaten after nearly 1:40min.
The owner then has the arrogance and audacity to be rude about it as she watched a young family with two young kids, leave her place after nearly two hours, and without having eaten. Very sad.
And the issue isnât staff or that the place is too busy, they simply cannot run the take out and dine in simultaneously. The owner/chef is the bottleneck of the entire operation, poster child for : â a great chef doesnât necessarily make a good restaurant ownerâ
The owner/Chef clearly doesnât do well with the public/ critics and no pizza can leave the oven without her being involved. Best is to scale down, focus on the Pizza and take out. Or have people place their orders online before coming in, this way she can plan ahead.
In any case, we wonât be going back, itâs a shame they make really good food. But not worth the time and arrogance.
Must say, staff was super nice and sweet and they felt terrible. I am assuming a super high turnaround at that place, the staff seemed intimidated by...
   Read moreAs the other reviews state the pizza here is incredible, lots of options, chewy and soft dough, and really great flavours. An authentic Italian place, owned by an Italian family, the rest of the menu doesn't disappoint either.
What I want to talk about though, is Nadia's warmth and level of client service. We live locally and have come in to eat here or ordered for pickup numerous times. When we came in with our three year old, Nadia pulled out her daughters' toys for our daughter to play with. Previously, after pizza, she offered her gelato or a chocolate treat from the counter.
Nadia and her team are by far the most wonderful people first...and they happen to also make great pizza. Small businesses like this should be supported every chance we get,...
   Read moreWe decided on this place after over an hour of scouring google reviews in the area. So this place is easily one of the highest rated and looked like exactly what we wanted.
It was very odd for us that we were the only people in the place when the place next door was bustling with a full interior and patio. Almost made us sad.
The server was definetly a bit green but she was being well supported by who Im assuming are the owners. But we loved the family run atmosphere and the food was excellent. Great authentic Italian ingredients and offerings in a very charming atmosphere. The kids declared it their favourite meal of our entire two week road trip, they're first Calzone experience and I think they are ruined...
