Petinos Saint-Sauveur — Restaurant in Saint-Sauveur

We went for brunch on Sunday at 11:45 and we were told we would need to wait as we were a group of 8. We waited about 15 min totally reasonable for the time we came at, the hostess asked if we wanted to eat outside and we said no as it was cold. We were seated and it took a while for anyone to come bring us coffee. The waitress came and she was very nice and we placed our order and while we were waiting the back door was open and we were cold and we had to continually ask the waitresses to close the door and then it kept being left open again. We had to ask a total of 4 times on different occasions for someone to continually close the door. We waited for 50 minutes!!!! before our order was served. My friends were eating their waffles which were slightly overcooked and they both crunched on something hard. We pulled it out of the waffle and there were black pieces of something hard which looked like plastic. We spoke to the waitress and she went to the back and came back to tell us the chef reassured us it was not plastic. Just hard bits of non-stick spray that clings to the waffle maker and sometimes you will find these hard pieces in your waffle. We were happy to know that it was not plastic but not very reassured to know that they seemed to feel it was normal to find hard pieces in your food and this was normal...

Definitely a great experience. Food was delicious and we were shocked with the how fast our food came out after ordering! In that regard, it was a strong 5 star. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star is that the speed and efficiency did affect slightly the warmth or personal character of the service. We ate good and fast, but it did feel slightly like we were numbers. Get them in, get them full, get them out… next! I know that’s a funny comment but it’s honestly the only down side we saw. I would give it a 4.7 (but google only allows round numbers). We will be looking to come...

Always liked this chain. We went for breakfast. My wife and daughter had the fancier dishes and those were good. I kept it simple ordered a omlette with meat and cheese. When I got my omlette found out the cheese well it's Kraft singles. For what the charge for an omlette and the fact it's a reputable breakfast place I was shocked. I always held this chain in such regard and recommended it. The prices went up and now I'm getting Kraft fake cheese. Feels like the whole town is cutting corners to survive post COVID. Such a shame not sure want to come back feels...
