Cheesetoast Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I wish I could give two different reviews in one… gonna try! 1st off….This is my first bad review for here not for the restaurant (good review below)itself but for the server we had last night! I’m rating the server a 1 star or should really be a zero star. I went to a friends steak night fundraiser for her wedding last night and the server responsible was very bad. She made a poor child cry cuz she waited till close to the end before she even took his order and made him wait such a long time while others ate in front of him. It took 3 of us to try and get his order taken. We all paid good money to come but with that it took awhile to even get our orders take. And drink orders were poorly taken or hardly taken at all. She came to our table and asked the others for refill drinks but completely ignored me. Very very poor inexcusable service from this waitress! I’ve had way better service here before but from this particular server it was horrendous!

The food on the other hand was top notch and amazing! I have loved eating at cheese toast for years! 5 star...

I went to Cheesetoast when I was a kid growing up in Saskatoon and loved it, but then I moved away. I recently moved back to Saskatoon and this is my first time coming back in 25 years. The food still tastes the same! Generous, delicious portions of rich Greek-ish food in a cozy restaurant with plenty of free parking. There isn't much curb appeal because it's hidden next to the drugstore in a strip mall, but don't let that stop you! We decided on a whim to come here on New Year's Eve and it was nearly empty but the waitress was delightful and the food was fast and so yummy! The one small downside to the whole meal was that the ceasar salad on the side of the dry ribs had artificial bacon bits, which ruined the flavour of the salad. Try the dry ribs with tzatziki as a dip. Soooooo good! These are the best wings we've ever had, because they deep fry the wings first and then sauce them so you get that crunch with the sauce. TO DIE FOR!...

My wife and I dine here frequently for our date nights. It’s never too busy and we live close. It’s ALWAYS amazing. One of the hostesses (bad with names but she had pink hair last we saw) is always bubbly and happy to help. Could be having the worst day ever and she’d make sure ya smile. Our last date we had to leave unexpectedly about 10-20 mins after ordering so I asked if they could change it to take out instead, not sure if they could with how close to coming out it was.

No problem, they got it all packed up and got us thru the toll so we could head out. And me being forgetful forgot my keys on the seat, but before my wife could even pull out of the parking spot our lovely pink lady came out with my keys in her hand
