Review for Coffee Plus, Saskatoon
Coffee Plus has always been our favorite spot for authentic Bangladeshi biryani. Ever since we moved to Saskatoon, itās been our go-to place whenever we crave that comforting, traditional flavor.
However, our recent experiences have been quite disappointing. The service has noticeably declined ā food was served carelessly, and it even felt like we were being given leftovers. When we asked for onions, chili, and lime, the server rudely replied that lime wasnāt available, as if we were wrong to ask. It really affected the whole dining experience.
On another occasion, we called to place a dine-in order, and the same staff member answered the phone in a sleepy tone, saying the restaurant was closed at 7:00 p.m. The unprofessional attitude and lack of care were frustrating, especially from a place weāve always admired.
I sincerely hope Hasan Bhai takes some initiative to bring back the quality and service that once made Coffee Plus such a respected name among Bangladeshi food lovers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried this Bengali Indian Restaurant February 1st 2021. Ordered chicken Biryani, tandoori chicken, mixed vegetables and naan. It was awesome. I am not sure how they packed so much Biryani in the take out container, but it was huge. The vegetables were delicious and very generous portion. Everything was very good. Will definitely order from here again. I would recommend calling and ordering directly as well because the woman who took my order was very helpful as I was not sure exactly what to get. The location is on the East side of the strip mall on Diefenbaker Drive. Itās a takeaway style restaurant and I would highly recommend it. We will try many other things when we order there in the future. I had food from here at a party in the past and was impressed, which is why I found out about it. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely write reviews. But food here is so phenomenal that I had to write one. It is a small take out join. But don't let the looks fool you. They only have a few items in the menu and each of them are done masterfully. The Biriyani here has the authentic Bangladeshi taste. Unlike Indian Briyanis Bangladeshi Biriyanis are mildly spiced so it is not over powering and all the ingredients stands on its own and work harmoniously. Hands down best Biriyani in Saskatchewan. Also this is the only place you can buy Bhuna Khichuri (meat, lentil, rice and spice mixture) and it taste fabulous. Best of all it is very...
