This was the worst experience I think I have ever had with a restaurant. I come here often and the usual staff I deal with are so kind and generally great but today was not that. I placed an order for pick up on skip. The order tracker said it was ready at 11:47 my partner had gotten there at 11:50 and when we got there they said we had already picked up the order. It had only been 3 mins past the orders marked completion when would we have picked it up? Whatever my partner while on the phone with me was explaining to them that we did not pick it up. So obviously someone picked up our order and obviously the employees did not confirm a name or order number. This would’ve been a simple fix if they had just remade it because stuff happens we’re understanding and that would’ve been fine. But they proceeded to accuse my partner and I of already picking up the order and arguing with us. They then just walked away without saying a thing. My partner did not leave as I had already paid for this order that I have not received. They did end up making our subs but because they were annoyed at the situation they made them as horribly as they could. (They were making other subs, and they were making them just fine but with ours it’s as if they were angry at us for their mistake and wanted us to have the most horrible food. They also were not wearing their name tags so we could not get the names. I come here frequently though as it’s right beside my work and I will be going to the manager about this situation because once they had finsihed throwing the topping everywhere but on the sun and putting the sauce on the wrapper instead of the sun they had said something but my partner did not hear so they then proceeded to yell at him. Not raise their tone so he could hear; Rudely yelled at him to which my partner obviously replied they needed to watch their tone. Camera footage needs to be reviewed of this incident as the 2 employees were horrible and rude and purposefully making our food disgusting because they were annoyed at the situation. They also took 20 mins to remake the 2 Assorted subs. My partner did not leave u til about 12:15. The employees working on Thursday April 20/2023 from 11:47-12:15 need to be reviewed I have already had skip reach out to them and they are doing their own investigation. I grew up in this sub shop as my grandpa worked their for decades and still checks in from time to time they even have his name and phone number on their bulletin board and it was always my favourite place. Read moreDisappointed in how stingy they’ve gotten with the toppings. I ordered a Louisiana chicken sub with extra peppers, extra pickles, lettuce, tomato. There was a pretty regular amount of pickles (which I paid extra for) and peppers, almost no lettuce, and very sparse thin tomatoes. Just because I asked for extra pickles and peppers (a quantity that I didn’t even get) doesn’t mean I want next to none of the other toppings. They are also often stingy with the Louisiana chicken sauce which I don’t understand because when you order online it gives you the option of 4 sauces, but won’t let you choose one sauce twice?? What a bummer… would have honestly given it one star but I do like the Louisiana chicken sub, and I like that MR Sub never got rid of this one so two stars...
Read moreThese guys take pride in what they do and should be proud of it. I recently had a conversation with Kenze(probably spelt wrong, sorry)about how impressed I am with the service there. There are two other gentlemen who work during the week and they are also wonderful(I’ll get to know your names soon). They usually will ask you how you are doing, make small chat but stay focused on that sandwich. They take pride in the food they are making and it shows. As an example, you want olives, they add the sauce first so the olives stay on. They have always accommodated all my requests, no matter how bizarre.
