Sunday, at 130 meet and my girlfriend decided to come for a quick stop for some ice cream after we went to a baby shower and we were thinking well. We didn't eat enough at the baby shower and this lady that worked here. Her name is Alyssa. She was working in the drive through. She was very kind. She told us about the blizzard. Not tipping upside down and I was like. Oh, you'd have to do that. Every time she's very professional, she gave us lots of napkins catch up everything we needed and she's smiling. She's great service. I'm really happy to know that Not to be rude, but a white woman that knows the menu is very informative and great customer service was working. The drive through this morning, we had a little bit of a situation at the office where we were rented the space with people that didn't know how to speak English. So it actually made our day feel a lot better knowing that there's somebody that works here that is understanding and can appreciate the food and knew exactly what we liked. Yeah, yeah,...
Read moreI have ordered from the 22nd street Dairy Queen quite a few times.. there hasn’t been a single time where I was satisfied. I speak very clearly and have repeated my order to make sure they get it right but everytime it has been wrong. The staff are not friendly at all. I’ve gone back to show them what they did wrong and they’ve looked annoyed at me or like argued that they didn’t mess up. There was once where they actually did redo my order and when I got it they just kinda shoved the food at me and rolled their eyes with attitude. I hope in the future the management will better train their staff to be more friendly and precise. Also while I try to order I’ve had them try to rush me through it where I’ve had to say I’m not done yet a few times. I’ve worked for Dairy Queen before at a different location in the past so I know how customers are supposed to be treated and I know the quality of service that should be provided and sadly I did not get that service at...
Read moreNormally I am very pleased with this location until tonight. I ordered two Oreo cupfections and I watched the employee making them go into the fridge, take out the brownie pieces break them apart and put them into the ice cream, no tongs, no gloves, just her bare hands. I asked to speak to the manager who told me it was ok to do it this way as they wash their hands regularly. I stated she’s touching the register, the counters, the ice cream machine, and my food! I said she should be wearing disposable gloves or using wax paper sheets to touch the food, she told me I was wrong, I stated well I’ll call the health inspector tomorrow and we will see who is wrong, no apology, simply said we will make you new ones, funny how the manager and two other employees put gloves on immediately. Absolutely disgusting your employees are touching everything in the store and also touching customers food with their bare hands. I will be calling the health inspector and DQ’s...
