Edo Japan - Sushi and Grill — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I arrived at the precise time my order was supposed to be ready for pickup. Upon opening the front door, I was greeted with the echoing flush of a commercial toilet - they must have been cleaning the bathrooms with the doors open, and the entire place REEKED of urine. I don't know if the urinal overflowed or what. Not a single customer to be seen inside or anywhere near the front, and this was 11:30 am on a weekend.

When I got home 5 minutes later, the meal was already cold. They obviously made it as soon as I ordered, and did not wait until closer to the pickup time. It had probably been sitting there on the counter for half an hour already.

I love Edo, but, a few months ago I ordered supper from 8th street location via Skip and all 3 of my meals came with no sauce, well that ruined our supper. So I call and the nice lady says I can get a meal for free next time so she took my name down. I called last week to get my free meal, and was ordering more but they told me a supervisor would call because they have no record. OK so I wait, she calls and says 'no we wouldn't give out a free meal so we cannot' I said well I was told different. She proceeded to argue with me so I just gave up, I would say that is not very good customer service, you ruined 3 meals only to offer me 1 and then not give it to me. I won't order from...

We walked away feeling like we got ripped off. Friend and I ordered Sumo Sized food. Sumo sized means the meal is 50% larger. It specifically says that on the menu. This franchise decided to inform us that it doesn't include shrimp after we paid for it.

This makes less sense when you consider that for the same price we could have gotten 6 more shrimp added.

This feels like a franchise being cheap and changing the rules to suit themselves. I have never heard of this at any other Edo I...
