Worst experience ever with a food order. Will not eat KFC anymore after tonight. Ordered delivery at 4:57pm (email confirmation stated delivery would be at 5:37) Called at 6:10pm asking where the order was and they said the driver left 10 minutes ago so I said ok. Waited until 6:55pm still no food, called the restaurant back for a second time and asked to cancel my order and get a refund. He said oh we canāt do that my manager will call you tomorrow. This was unacceptable to me so I said I would come there to get the refund right now and the guy said ok fine. So on the drive there he calls me and says the owner says you have to call the 1-800 number to ask for a refund. By now this already has wasted 3 hours of my afternoon and I still havenāt eaten. I was then placed on hold for 30 minutes with the call centre. Nothing was resolved with them either and they said they have to look into it and will get back to me in a minimum of 24 hours but likely longer. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be calling my credit card provider to place a charge back tomorrow as I am too tired and annoyed to do it now. Unless you want a stressful and poor experience I would avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered takeout, Monday December 20th. Got the 6 piece bucket with 2 large sides (macaroni salad and biscuits), a Big Crunch sandwich and Popcorn chicken. The Big Crunch sandwich and Popcorn chicken turned out fine; the dipping sauce was forgotten about though. Had to wait 25 minutes for chicken to cook (was notified about this before I ordered, so no harm no foul. I agreed to it). Macaroni salad was ok, pretty standard. Not sure what the ratio is supposed to be on the dark meat to white meat in my previously mentioned 6 piece bucket. Recieved only dark meat. But the biscuits... sweet baby jesus the biscuits. So "cooked" they where hard as a rock and burnt as well; so burnt the entire takeout bag stunk of it. How in the hell did someone working here think that it was ok to serve this to someone? I wouldn't have even cared if someone had approached me and asked if I wanted a different side, at least then I could of had something edible instead of stinky burnt paper weights. But no... "toss it in the bag and serve it to the customer", seemed like the proper choice to someone there. Save yourself some frustration and just go to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent through the drive thru today. Staff didnāt seem sure how to run the window/till. I had a coupon for a 12pc with fries and gravy for 35.99. At the window the girl tried to charge me $45 something because she couldnāt get the coupon code to work⦠Good thing I looked at the debit machine to see what I was being charged. She told me it was because the coupon wouldnāt work in the system. After I caught the hiccup she wanted me to go into the store. (I guess to sort it out with the manager maybe?) I said no to that suggestion as Iām using the drive thru for convenience sake and they should in theory be able to take care of this issue without me having to go into the building.. They worked out a series of charges to match the value of my coupon and gave me my food and I was on my way. Itās not the end of the world but it shouldnāt have been that difficult to get my hands on a bucket of chicken using a coupon lol. My thought is either staff needs a little extra training time or the system needs fixing if they arenāt able to accept the coupons that are in circulation until later...
