Yesterday evening my family and I ordered take out. We drove to the restaurant to pick up the order and when we arrived home we noticed that our fried rice dish was missing from the order, however, we did pay for the item. I called them right away to let them know and a woman answered and said sorry and let us know we’d have to come back pick up the item. I asked if there was anything they could do for us since we would have to now drive all the way back for the item we had paid for but they had forgotten to include in our order. She went to get someone else and when we came onto the phone he apologized and asked us to please come pick up the rice dish. I then asked AGAIN if there was anything they could do to help make this mistake they made right as now we would have to drive all the way back. He said he could give us 50 percent off the next fried rice dish we purchase. I said I didn’t think that was enough as the entire dish cost 13.95 and we have to use our gas and time to drive back again and our food would be cold by the time we arrived back home. He argued with me for a while and then told me he could deliver it to us but that he had no drivers left so we’d have to wait until the restaurant closed which was more than half an hour away. I said no thank you, my family would like to eat now and my kids need to get to bed as after 9 would be too late. I had to argue with him more and he finally told me he’d give me 75 percent off the next rice dish after he proceeded to yell at me “are you going to take it or not?!” I replied no I wasn’t going to accept such terrible customer service after I had to ask what they’d do to right this wrong TWICE, having to argue with them over this, and then being spoken to and yelled at that way. I would also like to note that this entire conversation was over speaker phone and my husband and children heard the entire thing. I then asked how they could be so petty over 2-3 dollars after making this mistake and he laughed and said I was doing the same thing. In the end he unhappily agreed to give me the next fried rice dish we order from there to us at no cost however I do not feel like going back to this restaurant at all. We also had to drive all the way back to get the rice, when we walked in to get the rice they had forgotten I was going to speak to him and tell him what I’m writing in this review in person but he was no where to be found. What happened to good custom service? Unreal, I am so disappointed. As soon as I called to say an item was missing that I had driven to the restaurant to pick up and paid for they should have apologized and made it right. I should never have had to argue with them like this as well as be yelled at and called petty especially since I had to use my gas and time to go back to the restaurant because of...

Totally unexpected, looking for a place to have a quick snack before hitting the road late at night for another 3 hours drive, I spotted this place and thought "that's it!"
After already 10 hours on the road, super thirsty and tired, I totally needed a cold beer, and was extremely surprised to hear "sorry we are not licensed yet". This was a no-go for me. How can a restaurant not be able to serve a beer?! But, the menu item looked appealing (regardless missing pictures, just plain text), and so we ordered...
5 minutes later, the food arrived, fresh and delicious, and so many memories came up this moment... I am from Germany, my wife is Chinese. In East Germany we had many many Vietnamese people for education and training, and many of them did not go home but opened Chinese or Asia food booths and trucks. They were everywhere in bigger German cities. And their food was always super fresh and delicious, every meal fresh made for YOU. Not like today's Chinese buffets everywhere, with cold and muddy something sitting in the chafing dishes for 6 hours. And the food, the look and the taste, was exactly what I remembered from these "Chinese" Vietnamese food trucks from Berlin.
Thank you for the great food, it can NOT be better.
Thank you for giant portions, and a very low bill.
You earned my recommendation.
I didn't even miss my...
Read moreThis is our 4th time in this place. Nice atmosphere. Food is good, a little bit more. I like their Pork Chops with Rice, but decided to order some noodle bowl.
UPDATE. I was there for lunch today. Ordered the usual Pork Chops with Rice & Fried Egg. Its similar to what we have in my country. The Pork Chops are sliced thin. Its grilled with white rice, 2 slices of tomatoes, 4 cucumber slices, a vinegar dip with slivers of carrots. I usually order an extra egg. Its a comfort food, no brainer. I like the classic ambiance. They're celebrating 5 Years, so theres 10% off from Sept 11-14, I believe, for Take-Out orders. So, I got the same order to bring home. I come here for the food, & bcoz its close-by. The service here is a hit or miss! Sometimes, the server is in a good mood, sometimes U get ignored! I have read many similar reviews of being snubbed. Hopefully I dont experience that again, as it is quite offensive.
UPDATE. We went for late lunch today. New female server. Ordered my usual Grilled Pork Chops with egg & rice. I was craving for this & it turned out very good! My hubby ordered Lemongrass Chicken on rice. He said he is not complaining that he did not find any lemongrass from his meal bcoz the food was really good, only he did not see any lemongrass!! Oh well... Service was good. First time I used their washrooms & it was...
