McDonald's — Restaurant in Saskatoon

This is my kids favorite location to go to, for the play place of course. Only place we will go into rather than just the drive through. However this is the only upside of the place. Even when not busy and tons of people working the garbages will be overflowing and majority of tables dirty. Also very unfriendly staff At least the girl that’s been working till/table service every time I’ve went there. Incredibly rude , quite literally tossed my happy meals onto the counter last time I was there, if I get table service she tosses my food onto the table. Never responds when I said thankyou. I personally won’t order anything for myself anymore if she’s working: Doesn’t ever say a single word to me but is constantly staring at me like she just hates me even though I’ve never seen her in my life other then ordering there and I’ve never been anything but polite to her. Last visit she put “ask me” in a comment for my burger that I requested no onions or mustard on which I’ve never seen in my life and I’ve ordered it hundreds of times. I stood close while they made it and she was constantly looking over her shoulder at me. Then she proceeded to come linger in my area like she was waiting for me to eat it. Based on how her demeanour is with me i tossed the burger that she squished before handing me it which she tried hiding her doubt behind the counter but I seen anyways. If it wasn’t for this girl I would give more stars but she 100% ruins the place for me...

It was really nice to see the steps that the staff were taking to ensure that everyone was safe ie: wearing masks, gloves, and sanitizing surfaces.

However, the people actually handling the food were the only ones not wearing gloves - Not sure how that makes any sense and we felt that it defeated the purpose of sanitizing everything. What good is a sanitized restaurant if the people who are physically touching your meal are handling it with their bare hands? We were certainly uncomfortable with that. For example, all team members were wearing gloves with the exception of the manager and the individuals who were constricting the hamburgers. Why?

In addition, my food was ice cold and and definitely old. We live out of town, were already on our way to the highway, and didn't want to turn back to get a FRESH meal. We just ended up throwing the majority of it away, which is unfortunate.

Not sure if I will return as this location has been a lack- luster experience in the past as well. Based on that and the most recent experience, a 2-star review is fitting as improvements can be made. We just expect our meal to at least be a little warm and not ice cold and it would be nice to ensure that ALL team members are wearing PPE, especially if they're handling the food.

WORST McDonald’s in city for sure! This location can’t do anything right. The inside is disgusting good luck getting your order if you come inside they completely ignore you and only focus on the drive thru. I waited 40 min as the ONLY customer inside and they got my order wrong and I had to wait another 10min to get someone’s attention!! Their food is always botched and cold. If you think coming in the drive thru will be better, IT’S NOT! Every time I have come in the drive thru they park you for ordering FRIES! No matter what time of day, they take 15 min to bring out the food. This is a 24 hours location but somehow they just randomly decide they don’t wanna take orders without any sign. I came in last night because it was only thing « open » at 11:50pm, waited with multiple cars in the drive thru for 10mins at the speaker as the person in front of me did order . No one said anything after 10 min i decided to move to first window to see if I would have any luck of talking to an employee but there was no one. Then moved on to second window where I saw the car in front of me get their food. Finally got someone’s attention just for them to open the window and say that they aren’t taking orders right now.
