THIS WOULD BE ZERO STARS IF IT COULD. For the record this review is for this Mcdonald's in particular but not necessarily at the workers. I went with my partner to get a milkshake, it is 10pm. We pull into the drive through and there is one car ahead of us and the other lane and maybe three in the rest of the line. I sit in front of the speaker for a solid ten minutes (being conservative) before trying to say hello. At this point it seemed that the speaker was maybe broken as no one said ill be with you in a minute and they didn't seem to hear me when i said hello (at this point the cars before us had pulled away a while ago and the person in front of me in my row seemed to have the same issue). I decide just to pull forward and explain that the speaker seemed broken so I couldn't. After another 10-15 minutes of more waiting in the rest of the drive through I finally get to the window and the employe asks if I was paying for the meal that was up on his display. I explained that I think the speaker was broken and I couldn't order. He then scoffs, rolls his eyes, and says "well it's not cause i'm here. At this point I am slightly annoyed because I knew I waited for quite a while before making the decision to move forward. I then tell the employee in an apologetic voice that I had waited at least five minutes (not wanting to be too rude and overly exaggerate. The guy then scoffs again and says oh five minutes? There are people waiting 15-20! He says it proudly too. I then ask if I can just order there and sorry. He reluctantly says yes and I ask for a medium vanilla shake and he says they aren't doing shakes. This is not the first time I have had an experience where I waited 20+ minutes just for them to tell me they don't have something (one night they said they just weren't doing nuggets after I had to wait like 10 minutes to even get to order on a slow slow night) as I finally get to say something. I know this is likely a case of an underpaid overworked employee but I mean at least just say I'll be with you in a minute so I know the speaker isn't broken. TO THIS MCDONALD'S HIRE MORE PEOPLE, PAY THEM BETTER, BUT ALSO FOR THIS PARTICULAR MCDONALD'S MAYBE AT LEAST GREET PEOPLE AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 10MINS WITHOUT HEARING ANYTHING FROM THE SPEAKER AND BE A LITTLE NICER WHEN SOMEONE GENUINELY THOUGHT IT WAS BROKEN. Read moreI’ve encountered many negative experiences with this location already!! Here are 2 recent ones: Went through the drive-through and it was literally 5 minutes before 11am and I asked for items that are on the lunch menu but they said they don’t serve lunch until 11am. So I said no problem, went out of the drive-through, parked and waited until 11. Went back through and the lady claimed they are nowhere near serving lunch yet even though she just told me to come back at 11? Mind you, aren’t they SUPPOSED to serve lunch after 11? Yikes. So I left and went to a different McDonalds instead. What a waste of my busy time.
Another encounter was that we went through the drive through and ordered a couple Items. And they told us to drive to the 2. Window and we did. We ended up waiting 10minutes with cranky and hungry toddlers in the back. So finally we knocked on their window and a young fellow appeared and we asked for a refund because we waited that long for a few items? It’s unacceptable. He said one moment and came back with our bag. Our fries were half cold, had barely any salt on them and they forgot to put ketchup and dipping sauces in our bag too. He said he will get the manager for the refund shortly. We ended up waiting another 10mins and nobody showed up. So finally we drove out to the front, parked and went inside to get it all sorted out. The manager wasn’t able to issue a refund and ended up giving us cash instead??? Like what on earth even is this place?! It used to be amazing when it just opened.
The fries are always half cold or don’t taste as great as any other locations, it always takes ages to get our food and the staff is not that friendly. I’d say they need to change their staff starting from management! If anyone from head cooperate is reading this: please do something for the love of god....
Read moreOn Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 at roughly 6:30PM, I witnessed the most bizarre series of events inside this McDonald's. The drive thru was a little lined up, so we elected to go inside. I ordered thru the app, waited a few minutes and then went inside. Once inside I found out I was the only order waiting for counter pick up. I waited about ten minutes, which seemed a little long considering I was the only inside takeout order on the go, but I can live with a wait if the food meets typical McDonald's standards. It did not. The single cheeseburger buns were burnt, and the junior chickens had maybe four shreds of lettuce. But what really got me was what was happening behind the counter. While we waited, a couple of young guys in street clothes walked in and just went behind the counter to... I don't know, hang out? They weren't in uniform, and they just seemed to be hanging out. It was bizarre. Most of the staff working the fryer and drive-thru seemed more concerned with gossiping than doing their actual job. And worse yet, there was a young guy there for his first training shift. No one seemed to know that he was starting, and no one seemed to care. Once someone finally told him to come behind the counter, a number of the staff looked at him and just laughed at him. The entire situation this young guy went through within the first ten minutes of his first day was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. All that said, I don't expect anything to come out of writing this review. All I'm saying is, maybe consider a different location in the city, or at least maybe avoid this location on...
