Pokey's pinball selection rotates out each month with the exception of a few staples. Friends and I ordered Pokey's Platter with nachos, dips, sweet potato fries, and chicken strips. The chicken strips were some of the most moist I have ever had with beautifully crunchy skin. The sweet potato fries managed to have something I always seek and never find in sweet potato fries: crispiness; delightful, light crispiness. The double baked nachos were crisp throughout the meal, refusing to be sogged down by the cheese and savory pulled chicken toppings. For dessert: pecan pie. Pathetic. All I can say is pathetic. I went there for a team wind up and they wouldn’t start making our food until they knew what dipping sauce we wanted even after we pre ordered. They say they can do private events for up to 40 people but they barely have 10 pinball machines and seating for about 10 people were waiting around the machines all night. Some people wanted ketchup on their fries or the included salsa on their chips but they wouldn’t bring anything out. At the end of the night they said some people hadn’t paid when they actually did. Jason rules!! This place is beyond my expectations!! If only I had more moments to experience the great joy of coming here I would come more often. I can personally never get enough time to play here because of LIFE but I savour every waking moment when I come here.
