Dear Store Manager, ( I have tried to send this message by email but there is not one!) I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you regarding the Starbucks location situated on 51 str in the industrial area in the North of Saskatoon. While your store is greatly appreciated by those who work in the vicinity, many of us have noticed a significant challenge in safely accessing it on foot.
The roads surrounding your store, especially 51st str, are quite busy, with heavy truck traffic and limited pedestrian infrastructure. In particular, there are no proper sidewalks or zebra crossings in the immediate area to get across 51st str. As a result, people working nearby who wish to visit your location during their breaks are often left with two unsafe choices: either crossing the road illegally or resorting to driving short distances (and adding to the already crowded roads there) that could otherwise be easily walked.
I believe that improving pedestrian access would not only enhance safety but also encourage many more workers from the surrounding businesses to visit your store more frequently without the need to use their cars. This would benefit both the local community and your store.
With this in mind, I would like to ask if Starbucks has ever considered raising this issue with the City of Saskatoon or the relevant local authorities. A request for proper sidewalks and pedestrian crossings near your location could make a meaningful difference for both safety and accessibility.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this matter. I truly believe that such improvements would have a positive impact on your store’s accessibility, customer experience, and the overall safety of the...
Read moreNo issue with the drinks. Atmosphere if you go in person (to honestly any starbucks) is horrible. I've ordered online before and went to pickup in person. No one even looks up at you for like 5 minutes. There are drinks made but I dont have well enough eyesight to read the names on the cup and certainly don't want to touch anyone else's order. The music is also way too loud so when you do finally get someone's attention you can barely hear them.
Biggest complaint is when you go to pay now their machine automatically comes up with "$1 tip $2 tip or $3 tip" which is ridiculous. The other options I couldn't see well as it was written very small and I felt rushed so I ended up tipping $2. The prices on coffee here are already very high, and now we're being asked to tip in the drive thru for them to do the bare minimum. I hope the employees are ashamed and embarrassed for...
