I was born and raised in SSM and I was home visiting for a couple of weeks. I was looking forward to meeting up for lunch with some friends on July 28 from highschool. 5 of us ladies (all in our late 40s) arrived at 11:30am as soon as the restaurant opened to get a table on the patio. We were told that they only allow tables with a max of 4 people both on the patio and inside the restaurant. I explained that we are a group of 5 and meeting up for the first time in many years and kindly asked if they could accommodate 1 more to a table either inside the restaurant or on the patio. I was told that their patio has different rules than the rest of Ontario which is in Step 3 of reopening Ontario. The hostess then told me that we could go to Montana's restaurant next door. So they watched the 5 of us ladies walk away and give our business to Montana's. I had been looking forward to experiencing Fluid but that was a disappointing experience and I won't return to give them my business. All of Ontario has been in Step 3 for a while now and 6 to a table has been in place since Step 2.

Visited Fluid Boardwalk Patio and Grill on August 22, 2021 and had a great experience. The sun was shining and we had an amazing view as the sun slowly lowered to the west. Our server Recheal was very accommodating and personable. Food was delicious started with Nachos, could have used a bit more topping throughout but nonetheless tasted great. I, personally hate lamb but decided to try the Lamborghini burger as I always try something different. Slight lamb taste but the seasoning overrided the lamb flavour (Thank God). The cucumbers on the burger really complimented nicely (I was a bit skeptical at first lol). My wife enjoyed the Boardwalk burger as well as the Pomegranate Fizz drink. All in all great view of passing ships/barges on the St. Marys River, great food and wonderful service. We will be back. 🍻

Beautiful patio directly off of St. Mary's River. Very helpful and patient staff. We were traveling and had our dog with us (grassy area close by to a few tables). Food is good. Fish was fresh. Great fries (my grandmother was concerned their fries would be fresh cut lol). Our server helped a customer up the stairs with her stroller. Just a very nice, relaxed environment. See menu attached. Website is a little tricky to navigate since the restaurant patio is part of the Delta hotel, so I wanted to be sure to provide it to you. A couple options for red and white wine, few options for beer, etc. Great spot for lunch or relaxed dinner on a patio.

Waited 20 minutes for a server to come over to our table of two to welcome us and take our drink order. Could’ve been longer but my friend got up and approached the hostess stand. They didn’t apologize but just said “we’re really busy”. The patio was full but the servers weren’t moving around like they really cared about providing quality service. I had crab cakes which were disgusting. Something was off about them. They were also $25 for two small crab cakes and 1/2 cup of diced veggies. Once our food came, our server never came over to ask us how it was or to bring us more water. We were afraid to order drinks because we didn’t want to wait forever for them. When we were done we had to get up and approach the hostess stand again to ask us for our bills. My friend had what was supposed to be a falafel bowl but it was three falafel patties on a small bed of quinoa with some pickled red onion on top. We weren’t sure if these were dinner or appetizers because the menu didn’t specify and we were not told anything about the menu. Absolutely terrible experience and not the only one I’ve had. The service is always horrifically slow. I keep giving it another chance because the atmosphere is so beautiful. Perhaps I...

View from the patio is fantastic, bring a jacket it can get nipy with the winds coming down the channel. Food is decent, its good, but nothing to write home about. It is also overpriced for the portions and quality imo. My biggest grip about this place is the service. It is so brutally slow, and waiting staff really dosnt seem to be in any hurry at all or care. Waited 20min for my drink to show up and another 40min for my food, place wasn't that busy. The 2 couples that were seated before me were still waiting for their food when I had almost finished mine. They were clearly not impressed with the service from their expressions. I was stationed at this hotel for work and the restaurant is attached. I ate breakfast and dinner here multiple days and the service was consistently bad. 1 star for view, 1 star for the food. This place would be really good if they amp up...
