Stackburger — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

I've been gluten free for about 6 years due to having an allergy. So it has been 6 years since I had any type of fried chicken.

I saw that Stack Burger recently came out with a gluten free chicken burger. It's been a very long time since I had one, so I went there today and tried it for the first time.

The first bite hit me, the crunch, the flavor of the seasonings, and the taste of fried chicken. I know this will sound crazy to some, but for the people who haven't been able to eat certain foods for a long time due to allergies, they will understand. I looked at my boyfriend who just laughed at the look of pure bliss on my face. I don't think I even came up for a breath until the sandwich was gone.

To Stackburger and the amazing employees who thought of the people with celiac disease when you decided to make your chicken burger gluten free, I appreciate you and am very thankful for you.

Ah this place was and is great! Made a pick up order over the phone. Had a pretty big order also for 7 people, 15 minutes it was ready! And well prepared also, it was not all sloppy like it was thrown together quickly to get it out the door! The burgers are shaped to stack. Its like their gimmick. When you get one, have a look, I'm a burger guy, it was interesting to me to see. They have great fries and onion rings, as well as other sides! It is located in a decent area. Service is great and they have a nice clean place. I dont feel I have to mention this, but the person that suggested it to me felt it was necessary to mention...this establishment it native owned. So if you are white and feel bad, this is the place for you. If you want to support native business, this is the place for you. Or if you just want a damn good burger...this is the place for you! Just got back from Stack with some colleagues. I am just jumping back on the Keto train after a holiday hiatus. I ordered 2 burgers but forgot to specify lettuce wraps instead of buns. I sat down at the table, realized my mistake, and momentarily considered starting back up again tomorrow. Instead I brought my tray up to the counter, confessed my sins, and asked if they could fix it for me. She was happy to accommodate my request and didn’t charge me a thing for it. Side note, if you are cutting carbs, this burger is a nice compromise. You don’t feel cheated when you’re done. They might not have made any money on me today, or maybe they did, but I will continue to support this locally owned business since they value customer service AND they have awesome burgers!
