McDonald's — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

Update: ordered two cheese burgers in drive thru, only got one and meat was burnt. Still the same here.

One of the worst McDonald's ever. I've been to this location three times and everytime I am left wondering why I came back.

1st there were 10 dirty tables in the restaurant and it took 20 minutes to order and receive our food. I mentioned to the manager that the restaurant seemed quite dirty. The staff came out to clean and literally mocked me.

2nd placing a drive through order the lady taking the order was rude and condescending and kept telling me my total before I was done ordering and she seemed super annoyed that she had to reopen the bill numerous times.

3rd Asked for a quarter pounder with no pickels, the box of the sandwich had the modification paper on it but the sandwich was not modified. Also in this interaction we received only two napkins when we ordered two meals.

Lastly a coworker described a bad drive thru experience where they didn't receive the right number of fries for the order and I said "Let me guess that was the McDonald's on Trunk Rd?" it sure was!

Tldr Dirty dining area, rude staff (many people) inconsistent and inaccurate with delivering orders.

Save yourself some frustration and drive up...

While working a night shift I decided to grab a bite to eat, considering this is the only place that's open, this is where I had to go. Pulled on to the property at 209 a.m. figure this would be a nice quick process considering there were only two vehicles in front of me. I placed my order, a big arch meal with large fries and a medium orange fruitopia. The two people ahead of me paid and received their food and left. I then pulled up to window number two to pay for my food. I was then asked to move to the next window and wait for my food there at reserved number one. I watched as two more vehicles pulled in, paid for their food, received their food and then left. After being on the property for 32 minutes I was finally met at the window with my food. After driving away, because I needed to continue to do my work, I noticed that the large fries were a small fry instead. The fries were cold and the burger was cold as well. I would figure that if you're going to take 20 minutes plus to make my food that it would be hot. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's and highly recommend...

I have had a recent encounter with the staff being disrespectful and just completely ignoring me at the ordering window. I got off work late today and decided i would walk to mcdonalds after hours, 1 am, so i called the store in advance and asked if this was okay and was told absolutely. I walked to the store, waited at the locked door with no answer after knocking, went to the order window with the app in hand with my order number up waiting for someone and no one walked over, so i went to the pickup window and the larger set short woman that was very slowly and haphazardly stocking some mcdonalds delivery bags just stink eyed me and ignored me the entire time. I knocked on the window and asked for service politely and was just ignored. i just gave up and walked home defeated... It was also windy and 4c outside. Thank you large lady for making my chilly walk a little worse.

Yes i made sure i called the correct store. I waited about 5 minutes after the employee noticed me and knocked again after and just was ignored. 5 minutes...
