Tahini's — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

I placed a pick up order of a one for all and two orders of chicken tenders at 2:45pm to be picked up at 3:45 pm the same day. When I arrived at 4:00 pm, our order was not ready. The worker stated it would be another 30 min before our order was ready, stating she was busy that whole time. At that point, I was frustrated and couldn’t understand how placing an order an HOUR in advance wasn’t enough time to have it ready. There was also only one customer in the store. I returned at 4:30 to be told it would be another 10 minutes. I got the kids out of the car to wait the ADDITIONAL time for our order. The girls were packing up our order and I watched the first girl I spoke with look at order, turn around and FINALLY put down the chicken tenders for our order. When I watched this happen I asked if she just put down the chicken and while one worker apologized and said yes it would be a longer wait the first girl was laughing at me behind the counter. We finally left the location at 4:50 pm

There are many things wrong with what happened today. First if our order was not going to be ready, we should have been notified in advance to be able to either cancel the order or at least have a heads up. When I got frustrated for good reason, I was insulted. That is completely unprofessional and she should not be in customer service. there was ZERO attempt to rectify the situation. The food should have been comped or at the very least a voucher offered. I can not understand how it took TWO HOURS to prepare a simple order.

I did apologize to the second worker for getting frustrated. She wasn’t there when we initially went to pick up our food. But the way the first girl handled everything is APPALLING

So so slow. Waited over 10mins for a shawarma wrap. 2 girls working slower than molasses in February. Iv sat down at places moving quicker then this. Buddy working the till was in the corner on his phone anytime there was no orders to take. Could have easily helped the 2 girls to get the food out the door. While waiting for 15mins total I noticed the menu stated $8.99 for my wrap and my recipt said $10.99 when I asked the worker about it I was told the price on the menu was for a small and it was discontinued. After explaining that the way customer service works is we pay the price listed not what they decide to charge. Clearly have no idea how customer service works. Would...

When you walk in it's definitely a take out place but is able to dine 2 tables... this is the first time I've eaten here and I'm a very picky eater. I tried this bowl, I got the butter chicken bowl. The rice itself is SO TASTY, almost like an allspice flavor. It's not spicy, kids would love this rice alone. The chicken is incredibly flavored and you get to pick 5 toppings of your choice. I got pineapple, grilled onions, pickles (the pickles are long strips and garlic, they are actually really good) mayo and lettuce. I'm in love. It's the best place I've been. It's filling, sweet and so full of flavors....
