Crusty Pizza Port Perry — Restaurant in Scugog

Only the second time ordering here. The first time was a couple of days ago and it was not too bad, this one was horrible. Ordered TRIPLE CHEESE & TRIPLE SAUCE. If I don’t have to use a knife and fork to eat it, (or have it running down my arms) it’s not what I ordered and paid for. There was no sauce and marginal cheese. When the toppings fall off the pizza, there’s not enough cheese. I was hoping to explain how we like our pizza, we order weekly, if not twice. So, I stopped in the next day and spoke to the Manager who decided to argue with me. When I asked him to show me where the cheese and sauce were, he told me that you don’t see the sauce when the pizza is cold. Well, we didn’t see the sauce when it was hot either. (And if that was triple cheese, I’d hate to see standard cheese. I’ve had regular cheese and sauce pizza that had more on it than this pizza). Crusty Pizza really should get more than 3 stars, their pizza and wings are pretty good actually. I was very impressed with their wings. Normally I don't like baked wings, but somehow they taste like they are fried.

Reason they are getting a lower rating is there seems to be managerial/operational problems with this location. I went in to order, staff were in the back talking. Not a big deal, but no one heard me. So after waiting a few minutes, I had to open and close the door again to get their attention.

I order pizza and wings with hot sauce. I end up getting an overdone pizza, and wings with honey garlic sauce.

Amazing value! $9.99 gets you a large pizza with one topping, and it's actually pretty good. Thick crust, with plenty of cheese. Pizzas are made fresh and take only 10 minutes to prepare. Staff are polite and friendly as well.

One member of our group ordered a pizza with 2 toppings (one on each half), and they accidentally put both toppings on the entire pizza, but then offered us a free small pizza with one of the selected toppings. Not bad for compensation! We would definitely come back here in the future.
