Yummy Wok — Restaurant in Scugog

The beef chow mein had no flavour, and did not look well cooked. There was no sauce on the honey garlic ribs, it was extremely dry and i only got 3 small dried up pieces. The chicken balls were overcook and hard. The Chicken fried rice was super bland with no chicken pieces in it. I'm Giving this restaurant 1 star because i can't give less. I’ll never order from this location again, because it was honestly a waste of money. The only reason why i ordered from this restaurant is because google said it was one of the best Chinese food in portperry. I'm sorry that i didn't read actual reviews before ordering, because if this is the best, i wouldn't what to try any other Chinese restaurant in town. I couldn't eat all my food because I couldn't enjoy. After adding lots of soy sauce i was able to eat some cause i was really hungry. Combo #11& #4 came up to $29.26 plus i got combo#2 which was $13 after tax & i'm sure i could have spend my money elsewhere for something more enjoyable. I do...

AWFUL ABSOLUTELY AWFUL here's the story.. we ordered 96.00 worth of different dishes. The food arrived pretty well on time. How can a Chinese restaurant go so wrong with egg rolls, way over cooked and cold, chicken fried ride that was so bland with a few slivers of chicken and cold, sweet and sour pork was awful and again cold.. vegetables were not cooked and I won't bore you with the rest of it .. we were hungry, so we ate what we could, but threw out most of it.. I was so upset about food quality I went directly back to yummy wok's..informed the lady that in 75 yrs I have never had such awful Chinese food.. she was very defensive, not asking what was wrong, insisting it was always made fresh and hot.. in the end she refunded me 48.00 out of the 96.00 order..she also told me not to order from them again. This was something we both could agree on . I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE . WORST FOOD EVER.. IF you decide to ignore this review I hope you have better luck...

Ordered the general tso chicken, twice. The second time I ordered it I thought maybe the first time was a fluke with how bad it was, but it was no fluke. It tastes like pure soy sauce with spicy pepper flakes. I realize the sauce is usually soy based, it's my go to dish that I order everywhere. But this not only tasted like soy sauce, but also had the consistency of it, which just made everything soggy (rather than thick to coat it). The staff were friendly and helpful when I took it back (which I rarely ever do, but it was just that bad). I'm sure their other products are great, just don't order the General...
