Big scoop of disrespect with my coffee. 2 times in a row.
First time, I needed a second to study the ever changing menu (stick to what you're good at Tim's corporate) so I said "Sorry, I just need a minute." And was greeted with, "Oh my gosh". I said "Sorry just trying to look at the menu." "OK, are you ready yet." I decided to drive away.
I made the mistake of returning today. Had to wait in line for 10 mins. "Oh my gosh" right? It actually didn't bother me till I got to the box and the gentlemen said. "Go ahead". Hmmm ok. Coffee for me, donut for my son. Had to repeat myself. Then "Uhhh let me check, ok we have the donut." And then the mini egg cookie popped up on the screen, and it looked good so I asked for that for myself. "Uhhhh, ok we have that."
So I look at the screen and it has just the coffee on it, so I'm asking to clarify. He says the coffee and the donut. I ask about the cookie, he says "No, I told you we didn't have that." Hmmmm you definitely said you did. You could have misspoke because you are concentrating on the windows times that they care more about than your wage. Or the speaker could have cut out. Or maybe I misunderstood. But you proceeded to tell me I was wrong. So I got frustrated because you just didn't want to be polite.
Look I get it. Everyone there makes minimum wage. I've worked at Tim's , various retail and customer service jobs. But there's something wrong with this location and I have a feeling it comes from the top down.
I'm done coming here. And I'm almost done with Tim's in general.
Next time I want a good Tim's coffee I'll go to McDonald's where they have your original brew.
Edit: I was contacted to "make things right" but I wasn't available during the hours that they requested, I have been ignored ever since. Definitely a management issue here.
Also, when you are invited to fill out their "form" because they are so "concerned" with your review, you get connected with the management of that location. Who emails you once and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter 25 years of drinking 2-3 Tim Hortons coffees every day, I moved to Port Perry and quickly discovered that I landed near the absolute worst location Iāve ever had the displeasure of visiting.
It took a year of being frustrated nearly every day before finally giving up on Tim Hortons entirely. This location single handedly destroyed my long term relationship with Timmies. Iām so done.
They get my orders wrong 4 out of 5 times. It is really quite astonishing that they can get things wrong so consistently. Such a waste of my time. Sadly, thatās not the kind of consistency I enjoy so Iāve moved on to drinking McDonalds coffee 2-3 times a day instead.
Way to go Port Perry Tim Hortons. You successfully broke my heart and pushed away a decades long Tim Hortons lover. Sadly, it seems the other Port Perry location is owned by the same person because itās equally lousy, time and time again.
So Iām here to say, Iām breaking up with you, Tim Hortons. Goodbye. Maybe one day Iāll move closer to a decent location and we can try our relationship again. Until then, Iāll never give the Port Perry locations another penny as they really donāt deserve my time, attention, nor my hard earned money. They give Tim Hortons a bad name!
From: A highly disappointed & ticked off former Timmies lover.
P.S. I rarely ever leave reviews but this location really does suck so bad and I want everyone to know how I feel about it. I doubt the owners...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was really disappointed the other day when I went through the drive-thru and encountered a mean employee named Judy who was so rude and completely impolite. Never have I been so disgusted by such poor customer service from this establishment. After the incident occurred my teenage daughter (and we know teens get embarrassed easily by uncomfortable incidents) said to me - āoh my god Mom sheās so rude.ā I donāt blame you for getting mad. At least though when I called the store and spoke to the manager she was so kind and supportive and apologetic on behalf of her staff, it made the whole situation feel better but still when youāre on the receiving end of servicing a customer donāt be rude itās just awful. Iād like to also mention the young man and the window who dismissed me with his fingers by saying āshooā when I called the rude worker out in her behaviour. Awful. I will never go there in the morning again as long as I know she could be there. Iāll happily go to the others. On top of all of that they have me wrong order - go figure. I was really surprised by this because I love this town and to be treated so unkindly and on a day when I was feeling unwell was completely and unbelievably disappointing. Thank you to the manager who helped defuse a rotten situation and gave me a meal on the house for...
