I just had the BEST meatloaf sandwich from here. Been on the coast since 2017 and this was my first visit. Won’t be my last. Also reasonably priced.

I see a lot of people complaining about the service. I didn’t have any issue with it at all.

Communication was transactional and information focused, but I appreciate not being forced into fake, overly cheery small talk like so many places on the coast.

I wouldn’t call it rude, though I could see certain people feeling that way, especially if they feel they deserve to have their butts kissed just for walking through the door.

I had a terrible experience here. I called my husband to meet me here for a bowl of soup. I got there first and asked the woman there for a cup of coffee as it was rainy and miserable. She asked for $3.40. I gave her my credit card and she said no purchases with credit card under $5. I told her that my husband would be meeting me soon and that we would be ordering lunch and that he had money. Her response was a very curt "So wait then." Needless to say, I didn't wait. Tried ordering 4 sandwiches over the phone on the way to the ferry. The woman on the phone was so flustered by the thought of making 4 sandwiches in 25 minutes, she hung up on me. And then when I called back, she started freaking out about needing more time. I accepted her proposed time, but she called me back immediately after saying that she just couldn't handle the pressure.
