A&W Canada — Restaurant in Shediac

If I could give less than 1 star I would but unfortunately I have to give them a star. I didn’t get the chance to eat at this A&W. I was on my way back from the YQM concert in Dieppe and decided to stop at A&W in Shediac because it said it was open 24 hours. There were about 6 cars in front of us, and 10 cars behind us. When we got to the order speaker at 12am on the dot, they told us they were closed. And then never said anything else. I called the Shediac A&W and suggested that they should have a sign saying they are closed if they’re going to close at a different time than the business establishment hours say, and the woman on the other end hung up on me. And would not answer when I tried calling back. Definitely won’t stop...

The cashier took 20 minutes taking the order ahead of us. To be fair the customer used 3 coupons. 4 employees became involved in the 2 person order. There seemed to be a dispute of one item. After waiting 15 minutes I noted that three families behind me in line had left. I asked the cashier to just give the customer what they asked for. After 5 more minutes the 2 customers left with their purchase. I spoke in English, but the cashier continually switched from English to French. She did not acknowledge our unusual wait.

We have been to A&W across the country and have never had an issue. Although the food was as expected the service required...

We have been there more than once. For the last 3 times there the food has been Cold and thrown together. The staff is always standing around chatting. The young man today was doing cash then tables then without washing his hands grabbed clean silverware by the end of the utensil we eat with. This is disgusting the place is dirty and the staff just doesn't care. Rotten lettuce on our burgers they were cold our fries were so well done they were uneatable. We will Not be going back to eat there again. 3 Strikes 'your out. I am so disappointed in this establishment. I guess nothing good lasts forever. Sincerely...
