We are originally from an area where we have our choice of very good, authentic, traditional Vietnamese food and Vietnamese fusion food, since moving here 3 years ago we've definitely missed it.
First let me start with, the restaurant is very clean, very well taken care of and has all these wonderful, charming little touches to it, everything is very comfortable and even the bathrooms are huge!
Our server was Thomas, who was so warm, friendly, personable, attentive and literally bent over backwards to make our experience amazing! (phenomenal job Thomas, thank you so much!)
The food was just as great as everything else! We had mango salad, fresh rolls, imperial rolls, pho, chicken pad thai, and fried bananas with ice cream! We really enjoyed their personal spin on these classic dishes and by far those are the BEST fresh (salad) rolls that I've had since moving to the region by a long shot and my husband LOVED his pho too!
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try something new and interesting, it's great for families and great for a date night!
Let them make the food their way so you can see just how truly delicious it is and all that it has to offer!
We will definitely be eating here again and hope to support this wonderful, family owned establishment as much as possible,
Welcome to Shediac...
Read moreI ordered a combo meal to take home and it was fairly standard Chinese food, though even standard Chinese food is quite good, so this was good as well. Good portion size, enough to have some left over for lunch the next day. The pork slid right off the spare ribs, excellent. The egg roll was a bit disappointing though. I like egg rolls that have full, unprocessed sprouts and veggies, but this seemed to be a ground up mixture. Wasn't bad, just not my preference.
The staff was fine and the restaurant is nice and open, though there is no air conditioning, so I'm lucky I got take-out on such a hot day.
Unfortunately, the pricing on the website was out of date. It said my meal would be $15+tax, but was actually $18+tax, for a total of over $21. A bit pricey, but what isn't these days? I'm also confused about the branding. Is it Vana? Is it House Of...
Read moreFor a restaurant with multiple 5* ratings and 4.5 total ratings but got constant transfer ownership 3 times in 1 year is alarming. Nonetheless, I tried the food for the first time from the previous owner of the establishment and oh boy, it was a let down. Now with the new ownership hoping it would improve but am I wrong.. the food tastes the same, never have I tried Singapore Noodle from a freaking Glass Noodle before it was a disaster. I hope the owner will see this and please PLEASE, change the Glass Noodle to Vermicelli Noodle, it would...
