Adorable Chocolat — Restaurant in Shediac

We were there on Tuesday April 15th for lunch! What a great atmosphere as always. My review today is not on the great food they serve everyday. My review is on the exceptional service we received from the young man that was working today, Ousmane...unbelievable how calm is this young man. We were exactly 8 Customers + 1 baby boy 👶 Ousmane took everyone's order, asked everyone's if they didn't mind the extra wait time. On top of that, he prepared all the specialty coffees he had to do, plus he was preparing all the food for all the orders he had just took at the register. Calmness over and beyond, so polite and professional. Also he was serving other Customers that came in for pickup or just coffee, while we were waiting for our orders. We didn't mind the wait as me and my wife are both retired. I was just amazed of the action and reaction Ousmane had towards all Customers. So calm and efficient. To have a diamond employee like Ousmane, is any owners dream. I understand as I had a restaurant in Ontario before we moved here. Ousmane, thank you for your dedication to your work. It's been a pleasure to watch you perform and we will see you again soon. ...

Everything about this chocolate emporium screams excellence. From the magnificent exterior of the Adorable Chocolate building to the aromatic finesse upon entering the premises. We (wife Pat and I) were graciously greated upon entering, having dashed through the rain from our car into the building. My wife chose a croissant plus an enduring hazelnut cream spread (think Nutella but much more exquisite). I chose a combination of 6 different chocolates. The attendant placed them in an attractive box. I have since eaten one of the six chocolates and suspect the remaining 5 will be as scrumptious. Shortly after stepping back outside, rain cleared, Pat dug into the bag holding her croissant. I took delight in hearing Pat express pleasure in it's taste. Pat was kind enough to hold it in front of my face so that I could take a bite while driving away. We both look forward to visiting this fine place in future visits to this city of Shediac, NB. If you ever have the good fortune of having Karim prepare your cafe latte you will never forget it. He is amazing! I saw customers gasp in delight and admiration as he brought the coffee to their table. I promise you will have the same reaction. Mark my words. Also if you’ve ever been to France you KNOW what a real croissant tastes like… well, Adorable Chocolat scores a perfect 10 for these also. And the lavender chocolates!!!! Divine. This place reminds me of a film ( title escapes me) about a little restaurant that is one day discovered by people who start lining up to get a chance to taste their creations. The people of Shediac have an absolute gem in Adorable Chocolat but I encourage anyone reading this to go there discover this wonderful cafe. I am certain you will be so, so happy you did.
