Bar Le Liverpool (Cigare) — Restaurant in Sherbrooke

The pool tables and space was great, but when i asked if the 20$deposit for pool was refundable, they said yes, then when we returned the balls, they billed us instead, i would not have stayed gave they been honest, then we had a pint, 6.50$was already expensive for one beer as is, but waitress at last call, after i ordered a pint, came back with an 8.50$bill.now i might have drink a lot last night but was surelly not going to let that slip! Then she said sorry, i forgot to apply the 25%of! So hard not to go what! Your actually saying that you charge on normal days 8.50for a pint of beer!? No wonder their always are epmty availanle tables and the pub is so quiet even on first of june! Or did she think i was to drunk to notice that plus tip, she was gona have me pay over ten dollars for a pint! Of course when i wanted a photo of 20$deposit, waiter snached my over priced beer i had hope to drink, and got in my personal space to stop me from taking photo of the misleading sign as i would not have played or paid that price have i known the price and that the deposit was not gona be refunded apun bringing...

Cool space for billiard and gatherings and nice atmosphere overall. However it's not for my personal taste. Paid a lot for my food and drink which I could not eat as it made me queasy after the first bites (burger and mojito framboise) so I practically left my food untouched. Waited 20 minutes for my ketchup and had to get up and to try to find someone so we could finally pay (ketchup never came)... Restaurant was busy though so I understand but waiting 20 min for ketchup is not acceptable by my standards. The poulet thai was good though and the server was apologetic and nice. The restaurant seemed nice and had we come another day maybe we would've had a dkfferent experience.. but I definitely don't feel like going...

Excellent food and atmosphere! I was pretty much stuck with going to Liverpool to get something to eat as everything else in Sherbrooke (including fast food) seems to shutdown at 10PM from Sunday-Wednesday. To my surprise this place had some of the best pub-fare food I have ever had. I had the crispy chicken burger w/ wedge fries, and pesto mayo.... amazing and exactly what I needed at the time and then some. The bartender was really friendly, offered suggestions, and I'll definitely be going back on ...
