Burrito Libre — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

This place used to be awesome! My wife and I would come here maybe once a week, always great service, always fresh, and the portions were always so generous. We haven't been able to go for the last couple of months, but finally went back today and I'm not sure if there are new owners/management, but it seems very different from what it used to be.

I ordered a large burrito and my wife got a large burrito bowl - our usual orders and always more food than we are able to finish. I had to ask the man who assembled our meals for extra of every ingrendient because he was being so skimpy; I swear he was even counting the grains of rice he was putting in to ensure he wasn't overdoing it. After bringing it home and eating it, we were contemplating going out to get more food. Definitely not what it used to be, won't be going back anytime soon.

INCOMPETENT and Frustrating! Ordered the "Tacos for 4" to go from the flyer and they didn't even know what the order was from their own flyer! They needed their own advertisement to make the simple order. When I got home, they had missed half the items. Missing: Cheese, Rice, Veggies, and Sour Cream. Very disappointing. I called to express my frustration and they wouldn't listen to me and were confused even though I was just there less then 10mins ago. On my way back now to return the half-meal and get a full refund. Heed this warning! Do not waste your time or money here!!

Just got back. The onsite staff couldn't even process the refund on my card! They could only take cash out of the register. The manager was supposed to call and never did. POORLY...

We ordered a meal for 4 people. Reasonable price & quite a bit of food, enough for four women & three men I would say. A few things. 1/ Everything was bland. If you expect heat or a depth of flavour, you will be disappointed. 2/ The meal for 4 includes about 2 tablespoons of cheese, tiny container. 3/ The pineapple salsa is made from canned pineapple. I thought it was a deal breaker at first but the flavour was pretty good. 4/ Tomato salsa was bland, looked like tomatoes had been frozen or overchilled because it was really watery & no flavour.
