China Kitchen — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

The food here is really good! It's also more reasonably priced than most Chinese restaurants in the area. The service was very good, as well. I ordered Dinner for Three with house chow mein, lemon chicken, assorted meat and veggies, and honey garlic pork. I also got an extra order of spring rolls and a freebie(!) of a green onion cake. I really appreciate that I got to choose my mains! The chow mein had lots of toppings and a really tasty wok fried flavour and a hint of crispiness to the noodles. Lemon chicken was excellent. The sauce was nice and sweet, and I could definitely taste the lemon. The breading was crispy with no soggy bits and the chicken itself tasted lightly seasoned/marinated and was tasty. The assort. meat and veggies was very good, though I felt there could have been more salt, but this was an easy fix with the included soy sauce. The honey garlic pork also could have had more salt and maybe more sauce. I didn't taste a lot of garlic, but the pork was tender and the breading was crispy. The (vietnamese) spring rolls were Good spring rolls. There was no hint of 'old oil' flavour that can sometimes come out in spring rolls, which made me veet happy. The green onion cake was lightly flavoured and somehow my favourite part of the meal. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be ordering it again next time I order from...

Have order many times from China Kitchen. Has always been our go to for delivery Chinese. We ordered tonight and for a 50 dollar order with 2 separate combo orders with add ons, we received one red dipping sauce to share between 2 orders. Received 1 packet of plumb sauce, 1 packet of soya sauce, and 1 fortune cookie. For a return customer who has supported this business at-least once or twice a month, this will be my final order. To cheap out like this after the countless support we have provided to your small business, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

EDIT Was convinced to try China Kitchen again. Placed our order through Uber Eats. Was over 80 dollars for our order. Upon arrival, I noticed items were missing from order. Called restaurant, extremely rude lady who answered immediately put me on hold. I waited well over 5 minutes on hold, finally deciding to hang up and call back. Number was now unavailable for a long while, finally got through. Same rude lady answered again, and I told her what had happened. She flat out called me a liar about the missing food items. Then went on to say that if the items were actually not there, I needed to contact Uber Eats and deal with them on the matter. Long story short, once again not happy with this restaurant once...

As a family that loves trying new takeout spots every Friday, we've sampled quite a few Chinese spots in the Edmonton and Sherwood Park area. Our first experience with China Kitchen tonight stood out. Ordering was easy, pick-up was fast. The food itself was pretty good. Everything tasted fresh and was packed with flavor. It was a hit with the entire family, from the adults down to our three-year-old, and even my mom loved her dish. Also, we were so pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary item included in our order. The speed, friendly service, and most importantly, the quality of the food was great.
