Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

Substandard and rude employee. After messing up my original order. I called to give my feedback first I was assured that nothing was wrong with my pizza. How dear you tell me nothing was wrong with my pizza. Every other papa John i go within the city I get the quality. I asked for square cut and I got it in slices not a big issues but for the record time that she made it I knew something wasn't right. The crust was either burnt / harder than usual. I called explained and left for number for it to be replaced.

Today I called to give them a shot again. Which is out of my way because I live within the city. This location is outside the city. I stop there on my way to an event. The employee took my details when I was giving him my exact order as before I was told I can only have a regular pizza. I told him no I'm giving him my exact order. That I had originally ordered. He then went on to say they didn't mess up the order and nothing was wrong with the pizza.

I asked him if he was the one that had the pizza and who is he to tell me nothing was wrong with it. I finally told him to keep his substandard pizza. No way In hell should you ever speak to someone who keeps the business open. If you don't have customers you don't have a business. I will NEVER return to this location. Rude recovery process. Don't worry I've already contacted your Co-Operate office.

Attempted to order online. Ten minutes later I received an email stating my order did not go through and that I would need to call them directly. Called them and was told they were having issues with their online ordering. I asked if they were able to fulfil my order now over the phone? He said he would need me to reorder. So I did that and also provided the discount code that was accepted online. He stated they could not honour the discount as it was not an online order. I said I tried to order online but your system wouldn’t accept it. He said sorry no. Five hungry people waiting so as much as I wanted to hang up I decided to give it a go. Last Sunday (Sept 19) I hosted a Great Pizza Race of Sherwood Park. We ordered from 10 different pizza places at 1105am hoping that early in the morning everything would be as quick as possible. Papa John's was an absolute embarrassment. It took them 10 minutes to answer my call and take my order of a single pizza. An hour later (after every other pizza place had delivered and most pizzas demolished), Papa John's was nowhere to be found. I called and they said they were extremely busy that morning and the pizza guy just left, he would be about 15 minutes. Almost 40 minutes later the pizza finally arrived, lukewarm.
