Read moreMy family and I visited this restaurant hoping to get a nice sit down lunch. It's advertised as a Mediterranean restaurant serving pizza, ribs, steak, etc.
First off, parking in this strip mall is not well designed, so be prepared for that.
Secondly, the 'background music' on this place is atrociously loud. It's just some middle eastern music that I can't really describe as I'm not familiar with it, but it was just entirely too loud and distracting.
The furniture and design of this place ate awful. The booths look faded and frumpy, the walls are peeling, the flooring looks aged and dingy. There are some very old statuettes and whatnot around that look like they haven't been changed on decades with broken parts. It's nothing much to look at. They also have a hookah in the middle of the place that there was some random guy sitting at, making the place smell of it.
We were still willing to give it a try until we sat down and took a look at the menus. The prices were off the wall expensive for such a terrible little place. $5 for a small cup of tea. Basically for hot water and a 25 cent tea bag.
We got up and left within five minutes and we...
Read moreIf there is zero stars or minus, i would've choze the lowest. So, here's my experience in that place. I Invited my 2 friends to have shisha there last night, the place was busy and not enough shishas. Understandable. We agreed to get 2 shishas for my friends until one becomes available. Saw people coming in, and others were leaving, i sent few reminders with couple of waiters there, nothing still. We stayed until most of the people left at 2:00am, and when I went to pay the bill at the cash, they were asking if i liked my shisha? I said the shisha i ordered at my arrival and never came even after few reminders? They looked at each other in surprise, and oh yes, the same ones i was reminding... They looked the most surprised. As if they never saw me before LOL. I added only 15% tip anyway, as i usually leave 25%, on top of the overpriced bill already for 2 shishas and tea, (i go pretty much to all the shisha places in town and i know what is the average pricing) so the dicision is: that will be the very last time i go there. I felt i got ripped off and...
